It was going to be another hectic day in school with the teachers pressuring me about the final exams. I trudged forward, climbing the stairs. Just as I reached the top, students rushed out of the building screaming and squealing.

Terrified,I stood in a spot though I felt a harsh push, left and right. The rushing traffic finally slowed. Most of the girls were still screaming in excitement. I spun around, curious to know what caused the havoc. I noticed the press vehicles held up at the gate at a distance.

What in the world? Was another celebrity enrolling in our school?

Two white limousines with mini national flags and the Royal Crest sprawled on the vehicles made their way to the front of the main school building. Royal guards in black stepped out and pulled open the door to reveal the Crown Prince. I gasped in surprise and awe. The uniform looked really good on him. His hair was combed back, so his square jaw jutted out. Wait, why is he here of all the schools in the country?

"Told ya he's gotten a whole lot hotter," Brianne whisper yelled in my ear squealing. She grabbed my shoulders, bouncing on her feet. My bag jerked backwards, I tapped her hands for her to stop.

"But I said it," Vicki argued.

"Doesn't matter who did. He's hot." Kim pulled her short brown hair up in a ponytail.

"Let me help you do it better." Brianne stepped forward.

"Er no. Class would start soon." She backed away. Once Brie got to work on your hair, it's gonna take hours before she lets you go. Nevertheless, you would look spectacular once she is done.

"Why are we standing here aimlessly?" I asked.

"Gorgeous Prince?" She gestured to the limo and the giggling crowd.

"Ugh."

"How come you are immune to this hot specimen?" Brianne playfully slapped my shoulder.

"She got Henry to drool over, that's why," Kim smirked.

Not true. I was not immune to the Crown Prince's attractive figure. I was disgusted by the girls winking at the Crown Prince.

"But you have got to admit that Henry is hot," I said, scanning the crowd for a glimpse of Henry.

"Not as hot as Prince Nolan," They all nodded their heads in agreement.

"Oh look, the trio are here." We watch as the three boys on top of the school's social food chain - Travis, Darell and Drake - stepped out of the building as though there were featuring in Boys Before Flowers' Almost Paradise. Instead of what I imagined to be war of dominance, they fist bumped one another. What?

"They know each other?"

"I think so?" Vicki cocked her head to the side with a frown.

"But how?" Kim asked.

"They are all wealthy socialites duh." I almost bit my tongue at what I had said. My friends were among the 'wealthy socialites, I was the odd one out. Thankfully, they didn't say anything. With the much standing and staring, my legs begin to hurt. "Can we go now?"

"But I want to a selfie with him." Vickie fished out her phone.

The teachers began to send us in, barking orders and promising detention for those who didn't obey.

"Oh, come on!" My three friends groaned in frustration. Vickie raised her phone in the air in the Crown Prince's direction, clicking away.

"Aww, it's blurry," She moaned, staring at her phone. She pouted and shuffled her feet beside us.

Students chatted excitedly, probably about the Crown Prince. Lockers slammed and everyone went for the first period.

"Anna could you please take those books to my office?" Miss Joy, my grade Arts teacher, asked.

I groaned in frustration but nodded and took them. I had just exited the toilets when she asked.

Don't get me wrong. I love helping Miss Joy but not now, not when food awaits me. I quickened my steps to her office, not minding the way the book tilts. Until I collide with something.

"Hey, be careful," a feminine voice said with a pained hiss.

Or someone as it appears. The books had fallen in a heap on the floor. I cried an apology to the girl. She waved me off and walked away.

She could have helped at least. Bitch much?

I stacked the books atop the other and slowly walked to Miss Joy's office. I placed the books on her table and exited it. As the door closed behind me, I grinned. Finally, I can get to my lunch.

Few students were in the halls. We could feel him before we saw him. A bodyguard stood behind him as he passed us. I pressed against the wall strangely intimidated. With that cold expression, who knows what he could do? He could probably have me expelled.

While I cowered, the others took pictures. I stared at his back in wonder. Why was I so scared? He is just an ordinary human being. I scoffed at my unusual behavior and continued my journey to the cafeteria.

"Anna?"

One thing about being a good student is that you attract teachers' attentions. Most times, it turns you into an errand girl (or boy).

I placed a neutral smile on my face as I stood before Mr Andrew. "Sir?"

"I need you to submit this paper to Mr John's desk. I would do it myself but I need to eat."

Well yay, for the teacher's pet.

Mr John's office happens to be beside Miss Joy's. Shoulders slouching, I marched to Mr John's office. It was absent except for Mr John's lazy ginger cat. The huge fella yawned and rested on the window sill.

I exited the office and made a decision to avoid all teachers. I turned a corner and heard someone talking on the phone. Curious, I eavesdropped.

As he talked, I peeked from my corner and spotted the speaker. It was Crown Prince Nolan. I could tell all this to Vickie later.

"We could get married Aubrey, I won't have to marry some girl. Think about it please," A pause and he began to apologize, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked that." A much longer pause after, "Yeah, see you."

Aww, he has a girlfriend. Vic, for the first time in his life, is right. The girl to marry him would be unlucky and get tangled in some stupid love triangle. As much as I feel sorry for the girl he is going to marry, I'm so excited for the drama. I squealed, excited.

He cocked his head to my direction. My eyes widened when they made contact with his. So, I might have squealed out loud.

Uh oh. I hurried away.

"Stop!" He ordered.

I stopped gulping and began to walk slowly,  placing a foot in front of the other.

"I said stop!" He barked.

Oh shit.

I paused again. He placed his hand on my shoulder.

Crud!
