My name is Mckenzie Alvord. I'm nearly eighteen years old. My parents have divorced a couple of years ago. That was really hard for me. I've never had a good relationship with my dad, and now that he's gone, I actually miss him.
At school, I haven't got many real friends. Actually the only real friend I have, is Emily Janssen. She's not an actual American girl. She's from Holland. But she's always been there for me, no matter what.
Since my dad left, my mom wanted to start over. She decieed to move to Australia. AUSTRALIA! I've never been there, but it sounds terrible. I don't want to move, I'll miss Emily too much. My mom says she can visit us any time. But I don't think that'll happen.
I didn't expect that moving to Australia would become such a journey....
