"This is dumb and you know it," Talia sighed, watching while Colter grabbed the thin bungee cords from Jennifer's hands. The only thing close enough to rope that Jennifer had found in her garage. The same cables that Talia knew she could get out of at any second.

The audacity of these two...

Next, Jennifer wandered back into the room, lugging in one of the dining room chairs with a supportive back. Walking past Colter and across the living room, she circled Talia slowly before placing the mahogany chair behind the brunette.

"Sit," Jennifer spat.

"No," Talia seemed offended, turning her head over her shoulder to throw Jennifer a rather nasty glare.

"Sit...please" Jennifer tried again though her shot at politeness was very sarcastic.

"No," Talia sang it this time just to push Jennifer's nerves that much further over the edge. That in turn was what caused Jennifer's hands to make contact with both of Talia's icy shoulders, all her energy exerted into pulling back. Without much of a fight Talia was thrown back into the chair, a successful smirk beaming from Jennifer as she circled back around and headed out of the room.

Watching the blonde's figure disappear from sight, Talia turned her attention to Colter who still hadn't said much the entire morning. Well, Talia hadn't really known what time it was but from the view out of the window, she was guessing it was around ten in the morning with the sun still set high in the sky.

"With everything you've seen and what Jennifer experienced last night, do you really believe this is safe or, or smart?" Talia asked Colter who had softly approached her and was now crouched in front of her, using the cords to bind her to the wooden chair.

She wasn't supposed to. She hadn't meant to, but she couldn't hinder the fact that she had a soft spot for Colter and maybe even Jennifer, main reason why they were still alive and breathing. Reason why they were in this position right now.

Last night was what was starting this stupid stunt. She couldn't believe all the voices that had driven her crazy then, were completely silent now. Not even the whispers that were lower than low could be heard now. The house remained silent apart from whatever banging around Jennifer was doing in the other room and both her and Colter's breathing.

"You wont talk to me because you know I'm right," she accused, bringing her last free hand to Colter's flustered cheek, the warm temperature contrasting brightly from her cool hand.

After she had nearly killed him almost an hour ago down in the basement when her temper got the best of her, his cheeks hadn't yet gained their color back from the eventful incident.

"I'm not speaking to you because I don't want or need you to talk me out of anything." He whispered out.

"I'm talking, trying to talk you out of this because I care about your safety. Don't do this, Colt. All of these weeks full of rebellion will be for nothing if you do this..." Still her hand laid upon his cheek, which she used to lift his gaze.
