California's Island
Cali (California) Bentley has lived her entire life on Magnolia Island with the same exact people. She's been in love with and dating the same boy her entire life, has the same best friend, and her parents still reside in the same little cottage she was born in. To an Islander, she is living the perfect Island life. However, as tourist season comes, so do all the Mainlanders. With them, comes the wild parties, obnoxious teenagers, and overpopulation of working college students. And her coworker Nash, happens to be one of them. On the Island for a college Internship, Nash opens Cali up to the world outside of the Island and the people she calls family. However, just as the Islanders always say, this Mainlander could affect Cali's perfect life forever.
