"Daddy daddy daddy," Jimin sang, skipping around the apartment. He had already gotten used to calling Yoongi that only half an hour after their agreement, and took quite an obvious liking to it; dancing around and testing it out in every tone and pitch he could muster.

For Yoongi, adjusting was a different process. He was never one for nicknames in a relationship, cringing whenever someone had attempted to call him babe before. But he couldn't argue that it was adorable how Jimin said it, and it made Yoongi feel a certain type of special that wasn't comparative to anything else; but that didn't mean it still wasn't weird as fuck.

When Jimin finally ran past him, he grabbed the other by the shoulders and steadied him in front of him, smiling softly as he asked, "Angel, what are you doing?"

The younger gave a wide smile, all teeth and cheeks and glossy lips, bouncing up and down on his feet, "I just like calling you daddy!"

Yoongi laughed, "I can tell."

Jimin went on, leaning forward so Yoongi had to hold him up, "I like you being my daddy."

"I can tell." Yoongi said again, "Which, by the way, I still have no idea what entails."

"Oh right," Jimin said, calming his movements as Yoongi loosened his grip, "Well, I mean, you've kinda been doing everything from the beginning; putting me to bed, making sure I keep my room clean, making sure I do my school work, cooking, cuddling."

"So just what I have to do for you no matter what head space you are in?" Yoongi asked and Jimin nodded and smiled, realising it was true.

"Exactly! Just well, more when I'm like this I guess?" He tried to explain. "And we can play together, watch shows together, have bath time together, colour together..."

"Got it," Yoongi said, giving him a little pat on the head, which made the other one shudder, flinching his head and closing his eyes. "Well then, is your room clean?"

Yoongi really wasn't gonna go soft with this Jimin realised, "Yes."

"Have you done your school work?"

"Um, yes?"

Yoongi raised his eyebrow, "Are you sure about that?"

Jimin nodded, biting his lip back, "Uh huh."

"What about that essay you were stressing over yesterday? Can you show me that?" Yoongi said, still playing with Jimin's hair.

Jimin gave a loud whine, throwing his head back in the air, "But that means I would have to get out of little space and I don't want to please please please daddy..."

As much as Yoongi knew Jimin needed to do school work, he hated seeing small pout forming on the other's face, "Look, a little bit longer in little space angel, and then you need to work on your essay. If you do it now, we will have all the time in the world tonight."

Jimin gave a reluctant smile of agreement, but suddenly widened his eyes as he remembered something, "Actually...."

"What..." Yoongi replied, giving a confused smile below narrowed eyes.

"Well, I have this friend, and he has a boyfriend, and he kinda wants us to go on a double date with us, and we were thinking tonight..." Jimin rubbed his lips together and looked down at his hands, waiting for Yoongi's answer.

"Of course," Yoongi said and Jimin pulled him into a hug, squeezing him tight and giving him a tiny kiss on the cheek, "If you write your essay today."

Jimin pulled away, giving Yoongi an annoyed glance, although he couldn't hold it for long as his expression flickered back into one of excitement, "It'll be so much fun, we are planning to go to this Indian restaurant!"

Yoongi gave a smile, rubbing Jimin's back and guiding him onto the couch, handing him his computer so he could get to work, "I can't wait."

Jimin giggled, opening up his computer still with a wide smile on his face as he slowly began to bring himself back to his normal headspace so he could focus on his essay. Yoongi's smile faded as he sat back on the couch and looked the other way, feeling a heavy weight of dread begin to sit with him. It's not like he didn't want to go on a date with Jimin, and it's not like he hated the idea of a double date, but there was a certain amount of anxiety surrounding the idea that he just couldn't push away.

He and Jimin had literally just agreed to actually dating, and he hadn't even gone on a date with his boyfriend, barely even left the house with him, and felt bad that a double date would be their first. He felt like he had completely forgotten how to be a functioning boyfriend, neglecting that dates were a thing until Jimin had to invite him to one.

He turned back around to lean into Jimin, finding distraction in reading his essay. But no matter how deeply focused the other had become, instinctively went to shut his computer screen, hiding his work from the other, "No no no, you can't see; it's really bad right now."

"I'm sure it's not," Yoongi reassured, but leant back to his spot not wanting to argue, "But go off."

Jimin gave him a pout, reluctantly turning his screen around and continuing. And even though he didn't want Yoongi to read it, he subconsciously shuffled closer until he found his way basically onto the other's lap, leaning against the corner of the couch. Yoongi glanced over at the essay; subtly reading it. Yoongi never doubted that Jimin was smart; but his intellect wasn't exactly shown through his cute, childlike personality. But to Yoongi, this essay was really fucking good; even if had zero idea what anything meant. He had no idea why Jimin was almost failing if he could write this well, and he knew that even though he was told not to read it he couldn't help but let out a compliment, "Jimin this essay sounds like a professor wrote it."

Jimin looked over, tilting the screen a little bit out of self conscious habit, but he couldn't help but smile at the praise, "Thanks, but it's really not good right now-"

"I knew we were missing something else from the list," Yoongi interrupted him, groaning as he hopped off the couch and went over to the table where the list had been sitting idly for the last couple days. He picked up a pen and scribbled something onto it, grabbing it off the table and flung it in front of Jimin's face.

Jimin squinted his eyes as he read it:

13. To learn how to take a fucking compliment

Jimin frowned, slumping his shoulders, "Yeah, but it's not just about that it's-"

He halted his speech as Yoongi groaned again turning around and falling to his knees in front of the coffee table to write something else. Without turning around, he picked it up and held it out to Jimin once more:

14. And to realise that you are stupid good at so many things and others would be lucky to have the talent you have.

"Fine. Ok. But I'm not good at that many-"

Yoongi turned around, "Do you really want me to write another one about not arguing with me?"

Jimin gave him a smile, so sweet and sarcastic it border-lined a grimace, "No daddy."

"Yup, still gonna have to get used to that."
