"He saved us Bill", Harry says, "he saved Dobby too", Dobby says, "and he has saved many others too, he used his position to help the Order, not the death-eaters", Bill says with a nod knowing exactly what Ryker had done for people, "he killed an entire group for us", Ron says, surprising both Harry and Hermione, Ron hated Ryker and now he was helping defend the man, not that he needed to, Bill already knew who Ryker was, the door opens and Maven enters, her hair and skin wet, "where is he, where is my brother?", she asks not seeing the trio, Bill points to the stairs and the female bolts up, Ron watching her the entire time, he hasn't seen her for weeks not since he woke up at her place and she helped him in finding his two best friends, Bill looks to his brother, "go on and see her Ron, we'll all talk about this later", the Trio nods and Hermione and Ron head upstairs while Harry talks with Dobby.
"Will he be alright?", Ron and Hermione hear Maven ask, "yeah he just needs some rest", "he'll never listen to that", Maven says both her and Fleur chuckling quietly, Ron and Hermione stand at the door, Maven turns and blushes realising she completely ignored them on the way in, "I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were here", she apologizes, Ron smiles at her and shakes his head, "it's alright, you were worried about him", Maven smiles slightly and looks at her brother knowing he'd be fine, she heads for the stairs and wanders outside Ron following while Hermione heads into the room, "I haven't seen you for weeks" Ron says and Maven smiles at him, "well you there were out hunting Horcruxes and I was out at sea", she says and Ron takes her hand pulling her to him in a hug, both had found comfort in eachtoher at Hogwarts especially after the whole Lavender incident, Ryker knew, he had watched over his sister, he knew they were close, Maven smiles wrapping her own arms around him, "I missed you" Maven admits, "I missed you too", Ron smiles and Maven pulls her head back and kisses his cheek, Ron blushing slightly as he smiles and looks down, his eyes meeting hers, Maven shakes her head and stands on her toes pressing her lips to his knowing he wouldn't make the first move, Ron's eyes widen but he quickly closes his eyes and kisses back easing into it quickly his chest filling with warmth.
Hermione smiles as Ryker slowly opens his eyes, a smile moving on his face as he sees her, Hermione taking his hand in her own, "you idiot", she whispers, "only for you", Ryker mutters both smiling and laughing quietly, Ryker sits up slowly grunting as he does and looks at Hermione who stands slowly and sits next to him, "I saw Draco give you our wands back there", "Draco is my Godbrother and he's a little braver then he lets off, he doesn't want You-Know-Who to win this war", "I could tell when he didn't rat us out", Ryker smiles gently, "I hope he didn't get into too much trouble because of me", Ryker mutters feeling guilty for leaving him, "hey, I'm sure he's fine", "none of us are fine Hermione, especially when you aren't committed to their cause, Draco never wanted to join he was forced into it, just as I would have been if I was oblivious to the order", Hermione kisses his forehead and Ryker looks up to her eyes, pressing his lips to her own, love spilling into it, it was there, Hermione knew he was truly on their side, Ryker risked himself not only for Harry but her, he held her close, hoping to keep her away from Bellatrix but she knew that he seemed to know what steps the Deatheaters would take and easily manuvered himself, something she figured he got from Dumbledore, always a step or two ahead or right behind them, waiting for his chance to move forward, to strike, he had the inside help and he knew how to use it, he would be a tricky opponent, a strong, one, a cunning, witty, brave and loyal, he had traits of all the houses, he just didn't know it, Hermione smiles her hand gently caressing Ryker's face, both looking into eachother's eyes, they were eachother's home.
Hermione smiles as she picks up a banjo sitting on a stand in the corner of the room, Ryker watching her as he silently drinks some water, "you know how to play?", "Yeah, music was a hobby for a while", Ryker says, unsure if he was still even able to play, the shake him his hands often got to him, "can you play for me?", "I can try", Ryker says and places his water bottle down on the bedside table while Hermione walks over and sits in front of him, Ryker with one leg sitting on the bed and his other hanging off the bed, Hermione sitting in front of him, legs crossed, Ryker takes the Banjo and strums a random tune making sure they were in tune before beginning, eventually beginning to sing with it.

Hermione smiles as Ryker finishes the song, she had never heard him sing before but others had and she often heard about it at Hogwarts, he really was an amazing singer, even now, after everything that happened, though his voice was deeper now, his soul seemed broken but she would always be by his side, no matter what just as he had promised her that day he left her in the Forrest of Dean.
