As Luke just hugged me, I knew I had to pull myself together since I knew that I had to be stronge, I pulled away from Luke and looked at him wipping away my tears.
"Thanks Luke for that I'm just not into adjusting to this since I grew up with the family I liked but then dad left and then I loved the way my life was and now this" I said giving him a small smile. Luke smiled and said,
"I'm happy I could help you but just so you know you don't need to do everything alone it's way better to ask for help". I smiled and nodded and then I was about to walk downstairs but stopped and asked,
"Want to help me make pancakes for everyone?" Luke smiled and nooded. We walked downstairs and grabbed everything we needed to make pancakes, just for the family and I was happy to do this.
After me and Luke made pancakes we set the table amd grabed topping for the pancakes we were pleased with ourselves. Everyone walked into the room with big smiles on their faces, Will had run stright for the table already grabbing everything he wants, mum sat at the table smiling, Toby smiled too as he sat down too. Me and Luke sat down as we started to eat the pancakes, we just talked as we ate and I may still not like this and I'm still not use to it but I know I will get use to this. I smiled at everyone as we all ate our food enjoying it together, once we finished breakfast, Toby took Will and Luke to school and mum headed to work. I sat down on the couch knowing that Toby is coming back to the house since he is taking a day off work so I get to spend the day with my soon to be step dad.
Once Toby got back he walked over to me and asked with a big smile on his face that just seemed so normal to me,
"So Sara what do you like to do for fun?" I started thinking about it and I have never been one for doing anything.
"I have never done anything beside clean, garden, make food and a few other things but mostly I do whatever makes Will or mum happy" I said feeling dumb that I don't know what I like to do. Toby thought for a bit and then said,
"Get dressed in comfortable clothing and I will take you to a place that Luke likes to go". I sighed and did what I was told, I walked upstairs to my room and got changed into jeans, a short sleave shirt with a garden on it. I put on socks and sneakers then I brushed my hair and tied it into a ponytail, I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs to Toby.
I walked over to Toby and he just smiled and then we walked out of the house and walked over to his car, we got into his car and Toby drove us to the bowling alley. Toby got out of the car and I did too and we walk inside, Toby pays for it and we start bowling after we got on our bowling shoes. As we are bowling Toby starts asking me some questions about my self and I answered them and I asked him questions and he asnwered them too.
"So why do you like my mum" I asked knowing I have been wanting to ask this,
"Your mum is kind and sweet, she is kind to Luke and doesn't try and force him to like her like most women I have dated and Luke just likes her" Toby said with a smile. I can tell that he is telling me the truth, I don't know why but I can just tell that he is trying his best to make me happy.
Once we were over and he beat me but this really wasn't something I enjoyed so we headed to the shops and walked around. As we were walking around I found myself looking at art stuff, Toby walked over and asked,
"Do you like art?" I thought about it and I know that I do art at school but I have never been one for really doing art unless it's for my art class.
"I have only ever done art at school but I know I like to draw when I have art but I have always been busy that I have never really found anything I enjoyed" I said feeling disapointed in myself for being this way. Toby grabbed the art book and a few other art supplies with a smile on his face, "Well I'm going to help you find what you love and I won't give up until we do Sara" Toby said and it made me smile back.
After Toby and I were done shopping and he had brought me a lot of stuff like books, art things, games, a camera and a few other things. Since we were out for nearly the hole day, we went to Will's school and picked Will up and he wanted the front seat so I let him sit in the front seat and then we headed off to pick up Luke. Luke climbed into the back with me and I was just drawing, I looked at the picture and Luke just grabbed the art book from my hands. He looked at the picture and Luke just started to laugh looking at my picture, he showed Toby and Will and they smiled and quality started laughing

I took my art book back and looked away from them holding the art book tightly to my chest, I felt embarrassed about my drawing looking bad and them laughing at it made me feel worse. Once we got home I walked out of the car grabbing everything that I got today and headed stright to my room not saying a word knowing that I didn't want to talk to anyone today. I know Will has never seen me draw but Luke and Toby just laughed at it, Luke knew I drew that and he laughed and I hate him, I hate him, I don't want him near me or a part of my family. I have two years of high school left and once mum married Toby then I will be stuck with him as my step, I will be stuck with Luke as my step brother, I will never see Luke as my brother and I will never see him as anything else besides a jerk.
