• Chapter 28 •

We walked to the park hand in hand.

My heart was beating like crazy, I have no clue about his but I couldn't take it anymore so I coughed.

He looked at me and I shifted my gaze to our hands.

"Oh! S-sorry..." he let go of my hand.

I gently smile, "It's fine aha..."

"We're here!" Jimin smiled as he ran to the nearest park bench. His hair flowed in the wind and the light from the sun shone on his face. His features were so mesmerising and beautiful I wish I could stare at him all d- I mean nevermind...

He smiled at me and gestured me to sit next to him. I sat down next to him and admired the nature in front of me.

She really is beautiful. Her features, hair, body, everything is just perfect! I really hope she isn't like Jisoo though, I hope she won't hurt me like Jisoo did.

I just stare at her for a few more seconds before shifting my gaze to in front of me.

"So, are you ready for the news I need to tell you?" I ask nervously.

She nods and looks at me, "Is it b-bad news?"

I shake my head, "No? I don't think it is, it's just something you need to know if you want to be friends us."

"Okay, go ahead and tell me, I'm ready." she gently smiles.

I nod and avert my gaze to her, "Okay,"

I take a deep breath in and then begin.

"We're not what we seem on the outside, Y/N. Everyone has secrets but ours are stories. Things we are afraid of telling to somebody out of our friendship group. Things we don't want to be known for. Things that make us feel ashamed of. This "thing" is known as our past."

She gestures me to continue on.

"Whose story would you like to hear about first?" I ask nervously.

She thinks to herself before answering, "I want to hear J-Hopes... Is he always happy?"

I nod my head, "Sure thing but no he isn't. Remember what I said? We aren't all what we seem to be."

"J-hopes suffers from depression. Remember that time you saved him? He's done that stuff before but Suga's always the one to save him, Suga thinks dearly of J-hope but nothing will stop J-hope from doing what he's always done. He's had a rough past with bullying and that but he can't help but think that everyone hates him." I say as I watch her eyes filling with sadness.

"Ever heard of the saying, "Depression is living in a body that fights to survive, with a mind that tries to die"? That's what J-hope feels. Negative thoughts come into his mind endlessly. They don't leave until he tries to do something. He wants to live but his mind tells him he doesn't deserve to live, he doesn't deserve to make people happy or be happy."

A tear drops down Y/N's cheek. I gently wipe it away.

"That's the story of J-hope, that's why he seems happy 24/7 but isn't actually, it's just fake." I smile sadly, "Who next?"

"U-uh, can you tell me about Suga?" she asks nervously.

I nod, "Suga is actually a very protective and nice man. When he was really young his father and mother owed someone thousands of dollars. His father couldn't pay it off since he didn't have enough money and his mother was trying to pay for his school fees. When Suga's father was out working, he and his mother were at home and someone knocked on their door. His mother opened it and a few moments later she died. The man stabbed her and Suga couldn't do anything about it, the murderer ran away and Suga wasn't able to find out who it was."

"A few days later his father was lacking sleep, he would be working 24/7 and was hardly home. Suga became very lonely and upset. He woke up each morning to go to school alone and it continued on for days. Slowly people began to find out about his mother and they blamed him. He was bullied for a while until he couldn't take it anymore and he ran away from home. Namjoon ended up finding him like he did with the rest of us and took him in." 

She nodded, "I feel so bad for him but he has you guys and also me now."

I smiled, "Yes, he isn't that upset but he's slowly getting better."

"That's good."
