'Earth to Mon!' Raven says and snaps her fingers in front of my face. I jump back at her sudden outburst and look at her in shock.
'What's wrong? Why did you bring me here?' I ask
'Listen, I have some important work and I won't be in school for the rest of day' she says with sadness filled in her voice. I furrow my eyebrows at her and she just avoids eye contact.
'Hey, are you alright?' I ask a bit concerned about her.
'Yes, I am fine. It's just that, I will have to miss school for a few days but then don't worry, I'll be over at the nights, we will have sleepovers' she says with a reassuring smile. I gave a smile back and wasn't planning to ask any questions because the way she was saying it, I knew she needed time.
'I am always here, you know that right?' I ask whilst giving her a side hug. She nods and we say our goodbyes and head our ways. I go back to class and the day continues as usual. I hear a ping voice from my phone look to see it was an unknown message from someone. But I think I already know who it is.

Sunshine? Why sunshine? I think but my phone beeps and my eyes go back on my phone. I think about it. I decline him, only I because I wanted a girl night out tonight with Raven and by girls night out, I mean gossiping and having a sleepover, not drinking or smoking.
Um, no. Today is actually not possible, but we can start from tomorrow. My house? -M.

Again, why does he call me sunshine? I clear my thoughts and focus on the class. The rest of the day went pretty well. Only thing was that I didn't meet Grayson after that. I saw him in the hallways a couple of times but he was with his friends. By friends, I remembered that Raven hasn't given me any call, voicemail or text. I am really worried about her. I know something's not right, I know she is suffering, but then I want to give her some time alone.
I take my stuff from my locker and get out of school once the final bell rings. I starting walking towards home. I usually have Veronica with me.
Veronica, my car. Yes, she has a name.
I hear honking from the behind, I was confused because there was no way I was blocking the road. I was walking on the sidewalk. I turn around only to meet the green-eyed-monster with his bike. I raise my eyebrows at him, wondering what he is doing here.
'Hop on sunshine, I am dropping you home' he says motioning towards the behind seat. Some part of me loves the motorsport kind of bikes but the other part of me says not to get on a bike with a stranger.
He is not a stranger, you met him at school and plus you are going to tutor him!
I hesitate at first but just when I open my mouth to say something he immediately cuts me off. 'No excuses, after all, I need to know where you live right? At least I won't be a lost puppy' I think of what he said and I nod walking over the back seat.
'Thank goodness, you aren't one of those stereotypical girls who are afraid to get on a bike' he says and chuckles in his amazing deep voice. I couldn't help but break into a smile too. He looks at me a gives me a genuine smile and I (again) couldn't help but blush at the way he smiled at me. A smile looks so good on him! Soon his smile turned into a smirk and I roll my eyes, trying to control my blush, unfortunately, I didn't succeed.
'So I can make sunshine blush' he stresses on the word 'can' and I let out a sigh and shake my head at his comment and hopped on the bike.
'Shut up and ride' I say while putting my hand around his waist and I immediately felt him stiffen underneath my touch. I silently chuckle at him and he starts the bike and I give him directions. Once we reach home, I get off the bike carefully and thank him. He nods with a smile and goes his own way. My cheeks were extremely burning from our closeness back there. I shrug and walk towards the door. I twist the knob and close the door behind me. I lean back towards the door and bite my lip to prevent myself from blushing. Why am I even blushing?
'What has made my girl smile so big?' I hear a male voice, I look to see my dad examining me as if something was 'fishy'. I immediately drop the smile which I didn't know I was holding.
'No-nothing, I just had a good day that's all' I say and run towards my room and close the door. I remove my shoes and swing my bag off my shoulder and place it on the study table. I stand at the edge of the bed and spread my arms so I could fall right into my comfy and cozy bed. I look at the ceiling and wonder if I am supposed to message him or not. What will I even say?
Oh hey, Grayson, I can't stop blushing because of you.
No! Oh my god, why would you say that?! I internally slap myself for that kind of answer. I unlock my phone and open our chat. Before I could even figure out what I was doing, my fingers started typing.

I waited for the message to arrive but then it never did. I immediately regret this. Is there any way you delete this message?!
Even if you throw your phone across the wall, it won't work. Once the message is gone, it's gone, honey.
My subconscious brain replies. I groan and stuff my head in the pillow. I hear a ping and my face immediately lights up. I quickly open my phone and sigh when I see it was Raven. I open her chats anyway.

Sup birdy. I missed you at school -M.
Me too, I'm so sorry this is happening -R.
I already told you it's fine, birdy. You have to be sorry -M.
Anyways, sleepover at your house tonight?? -R.

I switch my phone off and I hear footsteps downstairs. I freak out, knowing the fact that I am the home alone. It takes all of me to convince myself to go down.
