Sylrie plugged the DNA testing monitor into the wall. Star, Saki and Jakania had all gone off on some various endeavour around the hideout while she set up the equipment. Sylrie had mixed feelings towards letting random people walk around her and Leif's home; on one hand, if they were spies or Draconian sent to capture her and Leif then they could be evaluating their defences or stealing weapons; on the other hand it meant that she and Leif had some time alone. She smiled as she plugged in the last cable and pressed the starting keys. She left the machinery to start up on it's own and crossed the room to the bed. She lay down next to Leif and curled up against his side. He put his arm around her waist and stroked her hair.
"You'd better go and find the others for a DNA test," he whispered.
Sylrie pressed closer to him.
"Nah," she said. "I like it where I am."
Leif smiled and kissed the top of her head. Sylrie sighed and slipped off the bed. She made her way over to the monitor and pulled up the statistics of the DNA tests. Her jaw dropped as she read the results. There, under Saki's name, it said:
DNA MATCH: SYLRIE SHADOW NOIR
O. M. G. Saki is Sylrie's twin sister!
