(Not an X Reader, sorry. Also, I know the British didn't come over for the first Thanksgiving, I just wanted to add England because it felt right.)

Alfred was digging through his closet again and this time, he found a pilgrim hat and a turkey feather. "Oh my Gods, I remember this, all those years ago..." Alfred said to himself.

FLASHBACK

The year was 1692...

A very, very young Alfred was running around the small town square of the small settlement surrounding Plymouth. He was marveling at the Native Americans gathering in small groups conversing with colonists. About 3 decades ago, the pilgrims had arrived at the very same location and docked the Mayflower.

Now, after all of the help and support the natives gave the Pilgrims, they decided they should have a feast for all of the Native Americans and theirselves. The celebration would be starting shortly. Young Alfred sprinted to the Native American tribe's chief. "Good day, Sir! I find your culture very fascinating!" Alfred said beaming. The chief chuckled and patted his head. "Why thank you, I as well find your people's culture very interesting." He said softly.

Alfred walked away through the crowds of people and sat on a tree stump and frowned a bit. He knew that shortly, England/Britain would arrive. He always ruined the fun and spoiled whatever Alfred was up to. Alfred got up and sighed and stood at the docks with a few of the local men watching over him. Around a half hour later, England/Britain arrived. "Hello Alfred. I heard about your little celebration with the natives, that's good to know that you're getting along well with them." He said half-heartedly.

Time Skip

The celebration later known as Thanksgiving began. Native Americans and Pilgrims all sat together at wooden tables outside and ate vegetables, fruits and turkey of course. While the adults were talking talking, something caught Alfred's eye. It was a wild turkey running around by the edge of the woods. Alfred began to chase the turkey. After about an hour, he almost caught it, but it got away. The only thing he had to show for his hard work was a single turkey feather. He stuck the feather underneath the black ribbon on his hat.

By the end of the day, the natives and the newcomers were all friends. The natives went home and the newcomers and Alfred went back inside. England/Britain got back on the ship and began sailing back to his country.

(Sorry this kind of sucked. Happy Thanksgiving!)
