My heart is racing when I realize I heard him right.
This gorgeous man is actually asking for my number?! I suddenly remember the person he was with last week.
When I ask him about it he says they're not dating, which seems to make my heart even more jumpy.
But then I realize there's no way here's being serious. This must be a joke or a dare or something. Why would someone as breathtaking as him want anything to do with someone as ugly as me.
If he knew what I do to myself he would turn and leave. I had to lie when he asked me what my favorite drink is.
Honestly, I've never tried anything on the menu here. Taehyung is the only one know knows about my eating disorder. I made him swear not to tell anyone else.
I didn't respond to Yoongi. I just tell him where to pick up his drink. I can feel him watching me while he waits.
Fuck it.
I quickly find his receipt and scratch my phone number onto it. I smile to myself when I see him pick it up as he leaves the store.
He probably won't ever text me but there's no harm in trying right.
