From the from of the class, I could see several notice able people, boys and girls but there was one what   caught my eye; once the teacher had introduced me I went to sit in a empty seat beside a girl with platinum blond hair, which looked natural compared to the others I see with it, she had sort of blue misty eyes. She was sat in the corner by the window and she was staring out of it not paying the class and attention she probably wasn't listening to the teacher introducing me to the class; I approached the empty desk beside her and to my surprise she turned to look at me and greeted me with a might smile even though I was sure she want paying attention.

"Hi" she said brightly and her misty eyes seemed to shine.

"Hello" I said kinda awkwardly while still recovering from the shock, I didn't expect her to greet me at all, since she didn't look interested when I first entered but now it was like I was the most interesting person in the world. She closed her eyes and hummed in a satisfied and content sort of way, what was she doing?

"What" I asked abruptly and quite rudely while taking the empty seat.

"hmm" she hummed "Your voice is a violet" she said with her eyes closed and she sounded quite dreamily.

"Sorry" I questioned, I was lost in my words, what does she mean?

"Oh where are my manners" she clapped her hand together with a wide smile "I'm Katherine and I have synesthetic so I hear words as colours and yours is a violet purple, which is rare for normal people" she said shaking her head a little she still sounded dreamily, maybe that was the way she normally sounded.

"Do you like purple?" I asked "I like purple myself but I don't tell anyone that" I said quickly.

"Yes I love it especially with a chocolate brown and black" she listed off the other two.

"What other colours do you hear" I asked nervously while my his mind panicked and my wolf paced in my head as this girl just guessed his wolf colour and I couldn't help but panicked.

"I normally hear red, blues pinks and greens and some pastel colours, there quite boring really" Katherine spoke in a bored time.

"That's cool" I say without my usual filter, which surprised her, I could see it in on her face.

"You think" so she question.

"Yeah because you hear a colour with every voice it's so peculiar which made it so interesting" I completely lost my filter.

"Ha you think but it's get boring because the same colours just reappear" she says interrupting me, thank God she did.

"How old are you" I ask slightly hoping that she was younger.

"fifteen" she didn't look happy you she asked, I wander why.

"fifteen but I'm sixteen in two weeks" I was fill with hope I would meet my mate and being the new kid I might get lucky, she made as disappointed noise.

"What was that for" I asked trying not to chuckle.

"My birthday isn't until June" ooh that's why she's grumpy.

"Shhhh that's got to suck" I said feeling bad for her,  she was mine I would have to wait until June to find out.
