"Hmm, I don't like this one; he screams dominant alpha male" She murmured to what seems herself. "Nick there's another one for you" She said this a bit louder for Nick to hear and 'tsked' at him when she saw was him; he was occupied by Victor.

"Nahh you can keep him" Nick chuckled; I almost growled how dare they treat me like some object, the girl grounded and rolled her dark eyes.

"Nick" she whined pleadingly.

"Kat" Nick wined back meaning it to be funny but Kat glared in an I'm-going-to-kill-you sort of way as well as I'm-not-interested.

I cleared my throat "sorry let me introduce myself. I'm..."

"Not interested" Kat interrupted me, I heard Victor chuckling at me. I hate this. "Just let me know who you're going with" Kat continued to speak to Nick as if there was no interruption.

"You booked the hotel though" Nick said with a worried pouted.

"Don't worry, they are never busy so last minute changes don't matter, I'll just get a separate room" She said smirking at Nick's flustered face; I guess I'm missing something here.

"FINE, fine .... Fine" He repeated before he and Victor took off to the dance floor.

Now I could see Kat more clearly. She had a round face with shoulder length hair that was curled and griped back buy a dark purple butterfly clip. Her eyes looked unnaturally dark plus her it didn't help that her eye make-up was just as dark but in her eyes there were a faint trace of green. I cannot wait to see her eyes without the make-up. Her lips looked black with a streak of white down the right side.

She wore a simple black top with red and blue roses creeping their way up her top and black leggings that hugged her thicker legs. I watched her as she took a gulp from her glass while watching her friend; a sad smile crossed her face. I wonder what sort of person she is along with her friend.

"So tell me about your friend?" We both asked at the same time, we just stared at each other in shock.

"You first" Kat said sounding determined while still watching Nick, who was quite happily dancing with Victor, I think they are companions.

"Well he's a strange one that's for sure" I tried to sum up a vampire who likes to be in a wolf pack, even though our instincts go against it.

"That could be said the same for you. No, what is his personality like?" She quickly countered, why does she want to know?

"Well he's mostly a lone wolf but he is loyal to the few friends he has" Even in a pack of wolves they aren't that many who would trust a vampire. "He is lonely and ready to settle down which is odd for him as he can't really sit still" This of course is a resent development that others normally see when one finds after meeting their other half. Plus I would never tell Victor this to his face, it would only boot is ego and it in my pride not to tell him; Kat hummed thoughtfully.

"So no temper? No drinking habits? Nothing bad?" She asked suggestively. Victor only gets angry if someone wakes him up too early or if he's thirsty but otherwise he's ok, we as super natural's cannot get drunk; but am I going to tell her this ... nope.

"Nope" I say emphasis the 'P' like I was going to tell my possible mate that he's a vampire.

"Now's it your turn" I say.
