I prefer to talk to myself, I know then someone is listening and will answer back. Either way it's better than trying to keep up a loud conversation; full of no importance so why would I contribute to that nothingness.

The buzz of the class had become white noise, it must have started but I already knew everything so being here was rather pointless; there was a new face beside me. Next to me with a look of patience, why?

"Hello" I stared at them nervously, I haven't talked to anyone in months nor has hit been years now.

"Hello" he said more brightly now that he has my attention, this tone made me instantly want to cringe away.

"Who are you and what do you want" I asked quietly getting to the point, my voice was horse and strained from the lack of use.

"I'm Alexander but please call me Alex" he grinned, I had to squint to just look at him, "And what I want, I want you" he said plainly.... What.

"Well there's a first" I muttered quietly so no one could hear me.

Why in the whole wide world would someone want me? And for what? I'm just... nobody.
