I hate rogues with all my being all they bring is death and calamity, most of my pack know this and don't even go against. We all know that I didn't even tolerate there presences in the territory even by a single foot or the fine ends of their tails or ears. All rogues know fully well what will happen to them if they even come near my territory even the no man's land around my territory is dangerous for anything unwanted.
I got up from my desk and made my way towards one of my many book shelves, this one was a lighter colour than the rest and it was where I kept my favourite books and important files and document's; I grave a bright yellow book with a back picture of a girl and a star also this book had no clear title on the front cover or down it's spine but that made it interesting and eye catching. Taking it off the shelf I move back to me chair behind the desk and began from the beginning of the book once again.
While I was reading I made sure to remain alert to my surrounding and heightened senses, I could hear the children playing out of sight, the wind in the trees and the unseen birds singing their melodies. My eyes where focused on the book but they also saw the small section of the world around it, I couldn't smell anything wrong or dangerous and taste, yeah I wasn't eating or drinking anything so there was nothing to taste. I must have been half way through before my attention got ripped from the book.
"Alpha rogues!" someone yelled through the pack mind link.
"How many?" I growled back through the link to who ever said it.
"Two but it looks sort of wrong" they sounded nervous? Or unsure.
"What do you mean?" I said taken a back.
"Well one is injured? Or starved? but is being chased by the other who looks healthy" he questioned the state of the first but was sure for the second, I can almost see how weird this would be but they are rogues and that means no exceptions.
"Are they in the no man's land?" I asked knowing that if they were too close it meant we could act.
"Just barely, they are getting really I mean really close to the border" the voice worried.
"I'm on my way" I shut off the link, great what we need now is another rogue entering the territory, just after we have settled down with in somewhat peace; damn I hate them so much.
My bones broke and dislocated then snapped and clicked back in to place as I shift in to my chocolate brown wolf, I shook out my brown fur before running through the house; I also linked some others to meet at the border, the south border. I could tell it was the south by the denser smell of wolves and there anxious nerves as they watch rogue wolves get ever closer.
My wolf was a lot bigger than the majority of other wolves including other alpha wolves, but my size didn't give me any advantage against another alpha well I would be more intimidating but that just doesn't work. All in all being an alpha meant I could run faster, jump higher, take down opponents with ease, much more ease then most others wolves. At the south border my beta was already there and waiting.
Now I was here I could see and smell the rogues, rogues normally smelled different from those with in any pack it was like a safety feature or something. In the far distance I could make out the shapes of the two wolves; the one being chased was a pure white wolf which looked more like a pink or a red from the amount of blood it was losing plus it was limping to some extent while still running for their life, this wolf didn't look like a rogue wolf.
While the other wolf was a black wolf and moves like they were just playing with the other, it was like the black wolf wasn't trying to catch the other it moved with menace like it was toying with its pray, plus this one looked like a rogue as it had chunks of its fur missing and the skin that was reveled showed many battle scares also it carried the faint smell of blood with them.
