"It's so ... white." My estranged companion whispered in awe.
"It's snow." I glanced at them with a grin before turning my eyes back onto the road.
"I grew up in a desert, I don't know what weather it is, let alone snow." He turned to me with an exasperated expression.
"Well since you're going to being staying here while you get to enjoy this weather along with the rest of us; you know it's quite rare for it to snow over hear as well?"
"What really" His eyes widened as if I just gave him a treat, far better than snow.
"Yep, Now I have an idea..." I started.
"No I am not going to help you take over the world, not even if you bribe with your amazing Christmas cookies." He interrupted with an air of mocking the high and mighty.
"Um... that was not what I was going to ask but hey thanks for that but would you if I bribed you with a place covered with snow?" I asked genially curious but feeling that I had won.
"That would be .... Every tempting."
"Ahhh got it; I was going to ask if you're down for helping the turkey tomorrow?" I quickly changed the topic back to food, a safe talking topic.
"That sound terrible, horrible, incredibly foolish idea, sure let's do and see what happens." HE stated dramatically.
"That was a bit dramatic" I pointed out smiling as I pulled off a junction.
"I try." I could hear his flamboyance
"Sure you do."
The roads where quite with the occasional rough brush of wind trying to shove my car off course; the wheels bounced and crushed the slush and grit that was left from the morning down fall of snow with some traces of it still left by the sides of the roads.
