"There! Now you're ready for your date with Sour Cream!" Steven said joyfully.
"I can't wait to hear all about it!" Connie squealed in excitement.
(Y/n) smiled at them, but deep down she was really nervous. She still wondered why Sour Cream asked her out and not another human girl. She's human herself, well not entirely. Not anymore and she's over a hundred years old.
"Is something troubling you, (Y/n)?"
(Y/n) turned around and saw Garnet sitting next to her. She sighed and explained her situation to Garnet. With a comforting hand on (Y/n)'s shoulder, Garnet smiled, "There is nothing to be worried about. I know this is scary, because it's your first date, but there's nothing to be afraid of. Just be yourself and have fun."
(Y/n) smiled at the fusion, "Thank you, Garnet. That helps a lot." She placed her hand on top of Garnet's.
They all suddenly heard the door knocking.
"I'll get it!" Steven ran to the door.
Standing behind the screen door was Sour Cream dressed up nicely and a bouquet of flowers in his hand.
"Hey, Sour Cream!" Steven greeted.
"Hey, Steven, is (Y/n) ready?" Sour Cream asked.
Steven nodded and moves away for Sour Cream to have a good view of (Y/n). She smiled at him and walked closer to him. "Hi, Sour Cream."
"H-Hi, (Y-Y/n)." Sour Cream stuttered, "You look really nice."
(Y/n) blushed, "Thank you." She noticed the flowers he was holding out. "Oh? Are those for me?"
"Yeah, I thought it would be nice to get you some flowers."
"That's so thoughtful, thank you, Sour Cream. I'll just put these in a vase."
Before (Y/n) could get a vase, Steven grabbed the flowers from her. "I got it. You go have fun, (Y/n)!"
She smiled at Steven and hugged him, "Thank you, Steven." She pulled Connie into a hug too, "You too, Connie." She walked up to Garnet and hugged her last, "Thanks again for the advice, Garnet."
Garnet let's of her and smiled.
"Ready for our date?" Sour Cream extended his hand toward (Y/n). She nods and takes his hand.

"So where are we going?" (Y/n) asked.
"I thought we go somewhere fun, so I thought Funland would do." Sour Cream replied.
As they entered the amusement park, they began their date. They started by getting some snacks. Sour Cream got some popcorn and (Y/n) got some cotton candy. They were having fun by throwing the food at each other, while they did tried to feed each other by trying to throw it in their mouths. Multiple times were failed and succeeded. It did earn them some laughs.
After eating their snacks, they went to the arcade. There was a dancing game. Sour Cream inserted the coins in and started to dance. They were moving to the beat perfectly. Sour Cream would sometime grabbed (Y/n) to either twirl or dip her. As the song finished, they say that they had the highest score. (Y/n) typed in 'SC and (Y/I) D' for Sour Cream And (Y/n) Diamond. Sour Cream smiled at their names on the screen of the game.
Now they were at another game booth. Sour Cream wanted to win a stuff animal for (Y/n), but failed. It was the knocked the milk bottle game and it was a hard one.
"Ah, man!" Sour Cream whined.
(Y/n) placed her hand on his shoulder, "Mind if I give it a try?"
"Knock yourself out." Sour Cream handed her a ball. (Y/n) stretches her arm and closes one of her eyes to get the right angle to throw the ball. She moved her arm back and throw the ball. She throw the ball so hard that it went through the wall of the booth. Sour Cream stared at her with his jaw dropped.
"I win!" She cheered.
"H-How did you do that?!"
"I guess I've learned from training with the gems and Steven."
(Y/n) grabbed her prize and hands it to Sour Cream. He looked at her confusedly. "I learned that if you win a prize, you should give it to the person you like." She explained.
Sour Cream takes the prize, "Thanks, (Y/n).
Sour Cream takes her hand and leads her to the last ride, the FerrisWheel. Once they got in, it began to left them up and around. They stopped on top and saw the whole amusement park. (Y/n) eyes were shining in awe. "Wow you could see everything from here!" Sour Cream laughed at her reaction. He slowly reached for her hand. He placed his hand on top of her's. (Y/n) looked down at his hand. She looks back at Sour Cream, he had a gently look in his face. She smiled warmly at him and lays her head on his shoulder.

After their ride, Sour Cream took (Y/n) to the shore of the beach. They were sitting down looking at the sea. He had his arm wrapped around her as her head was on his shoulder. (Y/n) was enjoying this moment, but it ruined by her own mind.
'Why did he choose me?'
She left her head off his shoulder and turned to him, "Sour Cream, Why did you choose me?"
"What do you mean?" Sour Cream asked.
"I mean, why choose a girl like me when there are so many other girls. I'm not fully human anymore. I'm half gem now. I'm part of the great Diamond Authority and to top it all off, it's my fault that most of the people in Beach City were being kidnapped. I was doing that to just please the Diamonds. " (Y/n) looked down at the sand. "I just don't understand what's so special about me."
Sour Cream heard enough. He takes her hand which causes her to look at him straight at the eyes. "I choose you, because you're amazing, (Y/n). I like everything about you. Your hair, your personality, everything! Just because you did something to please someone doesn't mean you wanted to! And everything that happened with alien gems doesn't make you the bad guy here." Sour Cream caressed Hey her cheek. "I forgive you, (Y/n). I choose you, because I think you're special."
He rested his forehead against her's. They stared deeply into each other's eyes. Without them noticing, their lips had finally met. Their lips moving in sync. (Y/n) rested her hand on Sour Cream's shoulders as he rests his hand on her cheeks. Once they pulled away from each other, their cheeks were painted red as they smiled lovely at each other.

"I really had a great time tonight, Sour Cream." (Y/n) said as they were walking up the stairs.
"I had a great time too. We should go out some more." He suggested.
(Y/n) agreed. Just before she could go inside, she pulled Sour Cream down and kisses him on the cheek.
"Goodnight, Sour Cream."
"Goodnight, (Y/n)."
(Y/n) enters the house and saw that Steven, Connie, and the gems were looking at her with wide eye smiles. She gave them a confusing look.
Connie ran up to her, "So, how did it go?!"
"Yeah, tell us everything!" Steven yelled in glee.
(Y/n) walked to the couch. She sat down and placed a hand on her chest. She smiled warmly at them. She lets go of her chest and her fingers traced her lips.
"It was amazing!"
