"Wait, what?" Kakashi looked at you in confusion.

"I said I want to personally train Sakura."

"But why?" He asked.

You shrugged. "The girl has potential. Besides, maybe I can help her control her... fan-girling."

Kakashi stared off in thought for a moment. Considering your words.

"But what about Naruto and Sasuke?"

"I read up on their files, I know that Naruto is trained by Jiraiya the Toad Sage and you train Sasuke."

Kakashi laughed nervously. "Well yes, I suppose I have been sending Sakura to the library whenever I start lessons with Sasuke." He scratched the back of his head. "Alright, good idea (Y/N)."

You smiled brightly at the man, happy that he approved. "Thank you, Kakashi."

"Don't mention it." The silver haired shinobi reopened his book and started reading from where he left off.

You walked back to where Sakura was standing, rolling your eyes at her behavior.

The pink haired girl was leaning on a weapons' rack, staring at Sasuke who was brooding under a tree. The girl sighed, her cheeks tainted scarlet.

"Sakura." You tapped her shoulder to grab her attention.

"Huh?" She said in a daze. You shook your head.

"I know you're lovestruck and all, but I need you to focus." You reasoned with her. She nodded absentmindedly.

Seeing as you didn't really have another option, you grabbed the girl by her shoulders and whirled her around to face you. Staring intently into her face, you spoke.

"I just spoke with Kakashi-Sensei and he approves. Get ready, training starts tomorrow at 5am."

The girl groaned in complaint. You ignored her irritation and turned to the weapons' rack, leaving Sakura to continue her Sasuke-admiring session. You picked up several kunai, glancing over at the targets hung in several trees.

Judging their weight, you looked at back at the targets and smirked. "I can manage that." You mumbled to yourself. Then you chucked the knives across the clearing, each of them hitting the targets dead center.

Everyone stared at you, wide eyed in surprise.

"What was that for?" Naruto asked.

You shrugged.

Sasuke shuffled past you. "Damn show off." He grumbled.

You grinned and gave him a wink. He rolled his eyes.

"Alright, that's enough for one day." Kakashi announced.

I relaxed, putting away the kunai I had been using to spar with Naruto. Blondie was collapsed in the grass, completely out of breath.

"Not... done... yet..." He wheezed out.

You wiped the sweat off your palms, wishing your cloak wasn't so damn hot.

"Get up Blondie, I'll treat you to dinner." You held your hand out to the boy. He stood up immediately, a sudden burst of energy returning to him.

"Alright!!!" He said enthusiastically.

Kakashi-Sensei had you all sparring for the past two hours, as well as some strength and endurance training before that. You weren't sure why he wanted you to participate with the students, he was treating you like a Genin. But then again, perhaps he had his reasons.
