"My name is Takahiro. Now prepare to die." New Blondie lunged forward, slashing his katana across Kakashi's chest.

"Kashi!" Lady Akiko screamed.

But a cloud of smoke surrounded the shinobi's body replacing it with a log. The real Kakashi burst out of the woods, throwing countless shuriken and kunai at New Blondie.

The man dodged most of Kakashi's blades, swearing as one of them nicked his cheek. He wiped the blood away, smirking as he eyed the silver haired man.

"So you're the leader eh? You made a big mistake taking your kids with you. Now they're all gonna die." He snapped his fingers and two more people came out of the woods.

A man with long blue hair and a kusarigama attacked Sakura and Sasuke. A green haired woman with a whip lunged at Naruto and you, leaving Lady Akiko defenseless.

"Rest in pieces, little girl!" The woman cried out as her whip fell down onto you. You rolled out of the way, putting your dagger back in its sheath. You made several hand signs. "Shadow Style: Dark Wave!" You used the same jutsu as during your team's practice about a week ago.

A wave of darkness surrounded the woman, rendering her blind. She screamed in agitation, blindly running toward the first thing that made sound. Which happened to be Lady Akiko.

You lunged toward the lady, pushing her out of the way as the whip fell down on you. This time, you couldn't escape it's lash. You gritted your teeth as leather stung your side, drawing blood. The woman retracted her whip, licking the dark liquid off of it.

"Mmm... delicious." She smiled as she drew her whip back again.

You raised your lip in disgust before getting up. You grabbed Lady Akiko's hand, shushing her as she yelped in surprise. "It's me, (Y/N). I'm gonna get you to safety."

You brought the lady out of the darkness and into the woods, hiding her behind a tree. You handed her a kunai, looking her dead in the eye. "If someone finds you, stab them. Just grip the hilt and push the blade into them as hard as you can. Don't panic, think straight. If we all die, you run back to the Hidden Leaf Village as fast as you can. You save yourself, do you understand me?"

The woman nodded quickly, wide eyed.

"Good. I'm going to place a jutsu over you to mask your chakra and make you blend in with the shadows. You stay as still as possible. Even if you hear the fighting stop, do not come out. I will come and get you if we win. If no one comes, throw this paper bomb away from you as a distraction." You handed her a slip of paper with kanji on it. "Then you run back to the village as fast as possible. Do you understand me?"

Once again, Lady Akiko nodded quickly. You wrapped her hand tightly around the hilt of the kunai, using your power to lower the level of her chakra. You released your grip on her, making several hand signs.

"Shadow Style: Shadow Mask." You whispered. A darkness swept over the lady, making her blend into the shadow of the tree. You looked into the darkness, knowing she was watching.

"Survive." You said to her softly before standing up.

"Good luck." You heard a small voice whisper back.

You looked back into the tree's shadow, giving a reassuring smile. Then you ran back onto the path to continue your fight.

"Release." You said, raising the blanket of darkness surrounding the green haired woman.
