Chapter Eleven

You yawned loudly as you shuffled to the village gates. You could see that Sakura and Sasuke were already there.

"The day is so beautiful, isn't it?" The pinkette swooned over her male companion. He grumbled in response, glaring at the dirt road.

"Hey kiddos, what's up?" You asked as you neared the pair. They both looked up to greet you.

"(Y/N)-sensei! Are you doing better?" Sakura asked you, concern in her pale green eyes.

You nodded, smiling at her kindly. "Thanks for worrying, but I'm okay now. I think I was just a bit dehydrated."

Sasuke frowned at you, clearly not believing your excuse.

"Hey, here comes Naruto!" Sakura said. Sasuke groaned as the blonde waved energetically at him.

"This is gonna be a long week." The dark haired boy complained.

"And why's that?" You asked him. He crossed his arms.

"Because I have to spend countless days on a long trip with that idiot." Sasuke looked pointedly at Naruto as he approached your group.

"Hey Sasuke. Hey Sakura! How's it goin' sensei?" He rubbed the back of his head and gave his signature grin.

"Hey kiddo." You lightly ruffled the boy's hair.

"So, where's Kakashi-sensei?" Sakura asked as she looked down the village's main road. It was so early that the streets were nearly empty.

You shrugged. "Dunno. Maybe he's taking a shit?"

"Gahahaha!!!" Naruto burst out laughing while Sasuke slapped the back of his head.

Sakura rubbed her eyes. "Gah!!! I can't get that image out of my head!!!"

You chuckled.

Naruto started wheezing, Sasuke making a tsk noise.

"(Y/N)-sensei, you really do have a trashy mouth." Sasuke commented.

You crossed your arms. "So? Gotta a problem with it, kid?"

The dark haired boy glared at you. "Don't call me kid." He growled.

You raised a brow. Sounded to you like he had a shitty childhood too.

"Later on this trip, kid, we're gonna have a talk about your uh... problems." You spoke to Sasuke in a low voice so that Sakura and Naruto wouldn't hear.

Naruto finished laughing and coughing, regaining his composure. Sakura had her hands on her hips, eyeing her surroundings. Sasuke was brooding by the side of the road, watching the trees carefully.

You tapped your foot impatiently, waiting for Kakashi and this, Lady Akiko, you had to escort.

A few moments later, a flash of silver entered your vision, causing you to whip your head to look at it.

Farther down the village road, was Kakashi walking towards your group slowly with a woman by his side.

As they both got closer, you realized how beautiful the woman actually was. She was tall and lithe, with flowing black hair and pale skin like the moon. Her eyes were a honey golden, framed by long eyelashes. Her lips were soft and full, small pearl earrings dangling from her ears. She wore a red crop top and skin tight leggings, showing off all her generous curves. She was eyeing Kakashi, batting her thick lashes at him.

You couldn't help but raise your lip in disgust, seeing how she basically leaned into your colleague.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. This is Lady Akiko of the Land of Tea." He gestured to his female companion who smiled at all of you brightly.
