Warning: Oh no, this isn't a lemon, just wanted to point out good ole Lenny up there reminding us about what truly matters in life.

You woke up slowly, blinking at the sunlight streaming through crack in the tent flap. Your dreams had been so lovely...

"Mama..." You whispered almost inaudibly. "I'll find you again."

You sat up, taking in your surroundings. You were in a pile of pillows and blankets on the floor. To your left was a bed with two figures laying in it. The room looked identical to Kakashi's but you supposed that all the sleeping tents looked about the same.

You stood up, glancing at Aki and Ruka (little spoon and big spoon, respectively) sound asleep in their bed. You poked your head out of the tent, inhaling the cool morning air. The surrounding tents bore the Land of Tea's symbol. Judging from the sun's height and the wetness of the grass, it was early morning still. It seemed most of the camp was still sleeping.

"(Y/N)? Is that you?" Aki asked groggily.

You turned back toward her. "Sorry, did I wake you?"

"No! We usually get up at this time anyways..." She gently unlatched Ruka's arm from her waist and slipped out of bed. "How did you sleep?"

You smiled sheepishly, remembering what happened the night before. "Actually, I slept the soundest I ever had for... well," You scratched your cheek, "I can't remember the last time I slept so soundly."

Aki smiled. "Good." She glanced at the tall mirror leaning against the side of the tent. "Ah sh*t. My hair's a rat's nest..." She walked over to the nightstand and pulled a brush out.

"Can I?" You gestured at the brush.

Aki glanced between it and you. "Sure! It's always a treat when someone else does my hair." She stood before the mirror as you gently brushed through a tangle. "Ah... it's so relaxing." She breathed in deeply.

You smiled, happy that you could help her relax. It was the least you could do to make up for what she did for you last night. "Sorry if I'm overstepping boundaries. I..." You worked on another knot as gently as you could. "I want to thank you, for what you and Ruka did for me last night. You didn't have to bring me into your own tent."

Aki shook her head. "It's no problem! We're both happy to help. If anything, we should be thanking you. For what you did in the Land of Tea..." She wiped her eye. "You saved my father, you saved my village. I..." She breathed shakily. "I'm in your debt."

You started on another tangle. "Consider your debt paid in full- you don't owe me anything. You came here... to help my people..." You met her golden eyes in the mirror. "I'm truly grateful for you- you're a wonderful friend, Aki."

"Stop... you'll make me cry..." She wiped her cheeks.

"Hey! Are you making my girlfriend cry?" Ruka sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"No, Ruka. I'm not going to cry." Aki reassured. "(Y/N) and I were just... having a good talk."

You finished brushing out her hair and she took the brush from you gratefully. As you handed it over, you held her hand for another moment. "Consider us even- neither of us are indebted to each other anymore."

"Stop making moves on my girl..." Ruka slid to the edge of the bed and stretched.

Aki shot her a stink eye. "No one's doing anything! Now put a shirt on." She chucked her brush at Ruka's face. The woman deftly caught it.

"I don't want to put a shirt on."

"Too bad! You're putting one on." Aki opened another drawer and pulled a piece of clothing out, hurling it at the blonde who caught it with just as much ease as before.
