The Talents of Worth

@01-01-2019, Olan Smith

Inside the Genuine is his strength,

His to have and possess. When he became Lord

Of the Square he sought his power

But below he was bereft

His gifts remained buried

Hidden within the earth of the Square

He was cut off, weaker than the weakest

Naked as the day he was born,

Astride the woes of many the hopes of naught

Lay his favors, idle. In a dream

The Lord of lords said, "I gave you the highest

Of gifts and you squandered all by not pursuing,

But it is not too late. Find them and know that

I am God the giver of all talents, make it found.
