Acrostic: Happy Mother's Day
©May 12th 2019, Olan L. Smith
Hazards exist along the path placed,
And many incarnations come to the
Parent, the mother, who for one reason
Parades hope, struggle, and temptation;
You breathe because of her will alone.
Mothers are more than 'host bodies'

The hopes of having given her legacy,
Her life in some cases, to continue
Each life cycle for more than one generation.
Radiant beyond belief, a reason for the
Sparkle in the eye at conception.
Daughters and sons
All know the love
You provided us.
