Acrostic: Brain (arteriovenous malformation)
©May 6th 2019, Olan L. Smith
Brains, that is what it's all about,
Right brain? No, it's the gut; I have
A feeling, an intuitive feeling so give
It a break, you're driving me
Nuts, man. Have half a brain,
Alright, that not completely
Right or left, and intestinal fortitude;
Three brains, one body, one
Everything. How can that be?
Regularity, systematically in the belly? but
It rules, intuition? Feed me!
Oh,
Very well, I'm over fed.
Each pound I blame on you.
Never mind, I am right brain,
Overtly artistic to the core, but
Understand this, daughters or
Sons. What I have is hereditary.
Malformations of the carotid
Artery of the brain, I was born with it, not
Left or right, this is dead center-
Forward. A ticking time bomb,
Only time will tell when it will
Rupture,
Middle brain of two,
Another moment, no
Time to say goodbye.
It is an urgency on my mind,
Old or young it knows no phase,
No hope, someday it will burst.
