jeongguk was tired.

he was waiting, for something, anything that would make things better. he wasn't going to apologize, or try to swoon namjoon, make him feel like shit, he wasn't going to do anything. namjoon was the one who needed to say something, whether it was an apology, a confession, or a goodbye.

jeongguk hated acting so cold towards the angel of a boy, but he couldn't crack. namjoon wasn't his, but it still hurt. he knew that namjoon hadn't lead him on, he wasn't going to be delusional, but with the memories of them hanging out, their friendship.

it all just hurt a lot. he had never felt this way for anyone before, let alone a pretty boy.

jeongguk groaned and rubbed his hands down his face. there was a knock at his room door, and he mumbled a 'come in'. his brother, yugyeom, popped his head through crack, a sympathetic smile on his face. "hey ggu."

jeongguk hummed, not looking towards yugyeom, his gaze stuck on a picture of namjoon on his phone. "i got super mario kart."

jeongguk chuckled, shaking his head. he paused for a moment before setting his phone on his desk, standing up and walking to the door. "you always know how to make me feel better."
