Tommy's: POV

"Good morning Jack!" I said. "Listen to this!" he replied and increased the volume of the radio.

"Adam and Janet List escaped from prison last Saturday. They are famous serial killers and have killed many people. Adam became a famous killer eight years ago when he brutally murdered his entire family.

We ask you all to lock all doors and windows. Do not go alone when it's dark. Do not invite someone you don't know. These killers are very dangerous!" said the newscaster.

"Tommy, are you okay?" asked Jack worried. "Adam killed David and he tried to kill my family!" I said. "He raped and murdered two women yesterday night!" replied Jack. "He's a sick man!" I said coldly. "Yep!" replied Jack.

"How's your kids?" he asked. "My two daughters are suffering from PTSD!" I said. "Poor girls!" replied Jack. "They're traumatized for life!" I said. "I'm alwasy here if you need me!" replied Jack. "I know!" I said.

Then he left to help a girl. I'm glad I got a job in a music store, it has helped me very much. I don't know what I would do without music.

"Have a nice day and stay safe!" said Jack to the girl. "I promise!" she replied and left the store. "I'm glad it's summer!" I said. "Yeah, me too!" he replied.

"How was it at work today?" I asked. "It was good, but there was an uneasy feeling in the air!" said James. "Same with my job!" I replied. "We can't tell the news to the kids!" he said.

"I'm scared, James!" I replied. "You're safe with me, I won't let him hurt you!" he said. "What if he finds out where we live?" I asked. James opened his mouth but closed it again. "I don't want to be on the run for the rest of my life!" I said. "We come up with something, we alwasy do!" replied James.

I think it's cute that Tommy see Amber as his daughter. I hope you liked the chapter.
