"Oh hey, Alex!" said their foster mom. "Hey Christina!" I replied. "Your siblings have missed you so much!" she said. "I'm not used to be away from them!" I replied.
"Would you like to stay over for dinner?" asked Christina. "Sure, I'm not in a hurry!" I said. "Yay!" replied Esme overjoyed.
"Who's that?" asked Jesper. I looked at the photo of Amethyst and smiled. "A girl I'm in love with!" I said. "What's her name?" he asked. "Amethyst Jackson!" I said. "She seems nice!" replied Jesper. "She is!" I said.
"Dinner's ready!" called Christina. I got a worried feeling, I knew something was wrong. Very wrong.

Candice's: POV
"It was fun today!" I said. "I'm glad you had fun!" replied Amethyst with a smile. "Good night Amy!" I said and yawned. "Good night Candy!" she replied and kissed my forehead.
She let the door stand a bit open, because I'm afraid of dark. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
I woke up a few hours later by the fire alarm and Amy held me in her arms. I began crying and she tried to comfort me while she ran.
The whole house was in flames and she covered my mouth with a towel. I knew the smoke was toxic and dangerous to inhale.
She ran into the bedroom and closed the door. I heard a ticking sound and saw a bomb. It had almost counted down down to zero.
Amy opened the door and held me in a tight grip. "We have to jump!" she said and I nodded. We jumped and a horrible noise was heard when the bomb exploded.
I opened my eyes and I was lying on the grass. "We did it!" I said and shook her softly. "You were so brave!" I said but I got no answer.
"Please Amy, wake up!" I said. She didn't move. "Don't leave me!" I sobbed and tears ran down my cheeks. I lay next to her and held her ice cold hand. "I love you!" I whispered.
