Candice's: POV
-Flashback-
July 14th year 1979 USA
I was on my way to the playground when I heard a howling. I followed the sound and saw three boys abused two dogs. They saw me and looked scared at me. They ran away and left the dogs.
I went went carefully up to them and one dog wagged her tail. "My name is Candice List. I think I'll call you Etta and you Chocolate!" I said.
Etta barked and licked my face. "You like your name, don't you?" I asked. Etta and Chocolate jumped up and down of joy. "I take that as a yes!" I said and giggled.

"Hey Candy!" said Michael when I got home. "Hi!" I replied and walked to the kitchen. I gave my two new friends food and water. "What's this?" he asked. "This is Etta and Chocolate!" I said.
"Where did you found them?" he asked. "On the way to the playground, some boys mistreated them and I came to rescue!" I said. "It was really very brave of you!" replied Michael. "Can I keep them?" I asked hopefully. "Yes!" he said. "Thank you!" I replied happily.
