Chapter 21 - Friendship doesn't break, just gets old.

Me and Cato are sitting on my bed and talking about yesterday.
-We did make them jealous. Cato says.
-Yea. But I don't like to be mean to my best friend... I say.
-You mean my girlfriend who kisses you boyfriend? He says.
-Yeah...I miss being their friends.
-Me too...a little.
-Cato, do you think me and Glimmer will become friends again? Or even best friends?
-Friendship doesn't break, it just gets old. But you can fix old things even if they are broken. He says.
-Aww! That was cute. I hope it's true.
-If you really want her back you should just call her and ask if she wants to hang out.
-Okay. I'll do it.

When Cato has gone home I pick up my phone and call Glimmer.
-Hi, Clove... she answers.
-Hey, Glimmer..
-Wow um. You don't usually call so often nowadays so I got a little surprised when you did...
-Yeah...I just want to ask you if you want to hang out later today? We haven't seen just us two, as friends, in a while...
-Oh um. Ya, we can hang out. 13:00?
-Yeah, okay great. See yah, Glim.
-See yah Clove.

I sit on the cafe me and Glimmer decided to meet at.
-Hi Clove. I hear her say behind me.
-Hey Glimmer. I say.

-So um, nice shoes. I hope my jealousy doesn't look that bad on me. She says.
-Oh, about that... I am really sorry, Glim. What I said is going to haunt me forever. I didn't mean anything.
-Yeah...Clove, are you okay with me and Marvel dating?
-Oh yea. Yea I'm totally okay. Are you okay with me and Cato?
-Yup. I thought I'd still have feelings for him, but I just see him as a normal guy. He's not that cute as he was when we were dating. We laugh.
-Same with Marvel. I say and take a sip of my latte.
-Clove, I've really missed you as friend.
-Same, Glim. I say.
-Can we be friends again? She says.
-Our friendship did never disappear, it just got broken a little. But we healed it. I say.
Glimmer laughs.
-You are funny, Clove.
-Not as funny as that time that you broke the restaurant chair. I say and laugh.
-You are never going to stop teasing me about that, right?
-Nope! I say and laugh.
-Cheers! Glimmer says.
