It's been one week since she just...disappeared.
I've tried contacting everybody that knew Jennie.
Her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, Jisoo, Lisa, Joohyun, Sana, Hoseok....
No one can help me.
I couldn't even process what happened.
She hugged me, then disappeared.
I thought it was all just a dream, but it's really not.
And I don't think the police would even believe me if I told them that my girlfriend literally just vanished.
Did her dream that she told me come true?
No...it can't be....she didn't even get to finish her sentence...
Lying on the bed, I stared up at the ceiling thinking about different ways she could've disappeared. It just didn't make any sense. I even asked the ice cream parlor if I could check their security footage and figure out what happened, but when I watched the recordings back, I just saw the exact same thing I witnessed. Jennie just vanishing in thin air, with no reasonable explanation whatsoever. On the verge of crying for the thirtieth time, my phone started ringing.
*RING RING*
Getting up from my bed to grab my phone from the drawer, I picked up the call coming from Jisoo.
"Hey Chae, any news on Jennie?" Jisoo asked with Dalgom barking in the background.
"No...nothing.." I couldn't manage to say anything else without breaking down.
It's all my damn fault. If I hadn't ignored Jennie, this would have NEVER happened.
"I'm coming over to your place."
"I'm fine..really. I can figure this out myself."
"I know you're not fine. I'm coming over even without your permission. You know why?? Cause I care for you, Chaeyoung."
"Jis—"
"Go get ready."
"Wait wait. Jisoo I really don—"
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
She just hung up on me, didn't she....

"Jisoo, I don't think this is necessary..."
"No no no, just trust me on this," Jisoo says while laying out books on fortune cookies, time travel, teleportation, and aliens on the coffee table in my living room.
"Where'd you even get all these books from?"
"My grandma is an intellectual. She loves reading and researching topics like these. Don't worry...I'm not that crazy.." She says, smirking at me.
