Phase One (P.4)

No Ones POV:

"Listen carefully, be sure to stay near me." The examiner warned.

The applicants have made it through the dark tunnel and now they are in the Numere Wetlands.

Akari POV:

"I really hate running, and the fog is getting thicker." I muttered under my breath.

I turned to look around and I sense a killing aura, Killua noticed too, so us three moved up to the front.

"Leorio! Kurapika! Killua says that we should move up." Gon called out.

Leorio and Kurapika yelled back, they said they'll catch up with us soon. But honestly I have a bad feeling about this, Yet I still don't fully trust these guys.

We moved on forward ahead but I hear screams and crys all over the place. I shake my head slightly, I can think about this right now.

The screaming.. It reminds me of that day, the day that took everything away from me and shut me out from society. I close my eyes, hoping I wouldn't remember right now. It didn't work, right now I have to keep going.

"Akari?.." My eyes opened up and saw Gon and Killua looking at me.

"Don't worry about me, I'm fine." I answered back quietly.

Crap, I should've kept my guard up, all three of us fell into a trap. Er.. A frog.

A few seconds later he spit us out.

"I guess he didn't like the taste of us." Gon said as he scratched the back of his neck.

"It was this." Killua pulled out the can of juice Tompa tried to give us.

"Good thinking." I said

"I'm still worried about Leorio and Kurapika." Said Gon changing the subject.

"Forget about them, we can still catch up to the examiner." Killua answered.

"I guess we should, I wouldn't want to get lost in this fog, but I can't help but to wonder what happened to those two." I replied.

Killua started to run again but then Gon hesitated and started to run the opposite direction, I started to follow Gon. I don't know why though. Maybe it was that bad feeling I had back there.

I started running trying to find Gon, I think I made it on time because I found him along with Leorio and Kurapika. But the thing is they looked like they were fighting.. Hisoka.

I quickly took cover and examine from a distance. It looks like Hisoka took a hit from Gon's fishing rod.

"I made it right on time." Gon said as he catches his breath.

I don't think Gon can handle this alone so I jumped right beside him.

"Akari? What are you doing here?" He asked me.

"Honestly, I don't know but I knew I had a bad feeling about something." I answered back.

"Not bad, little boy." Hisoka said to Gon.

"Tsk, Gon be careful if you fight him, I'll back you up." I warned him.

"I got it." He said back.

"Is that a fishing rod? What a fascinating weapon." Hisoka started talking.

He started walking towards us, "Allow me a closer look.." He said.

'What should I do? Sword or.. Ability.. Well both because there's no point in hiding it now.' I thought.

'Its now or never..' I thought before pulling out my sword.

"Re-Quip: Heaven Wheel Armor!" I said loudly.

I transformed into the armor only wearing the headband that goes across my forehead putting my hair down, changing my shoes and my sword. All in a silver/white colour.

I quickly changed to my Heaven Wheel Armor, though I can only wear those two things, I'm still wearing my sailor outfit.

"Wow! Sugeee! Akari, show me how to do that after!" Gon amazed by the quick change.

I virtually face-palmed my self because of Gon's excitement.

"Gon, i'll explain everything later, we have a fight going on right now." I said back.

"Oh?.." Hisoka interested in my Re-Quip.

We were about to fight but then Leorio got back on his feet and failed to land a punch on Hisoka. Ending it the opposite way.

It gave us a perfect chance to attack him.

I spawned a bunch of swords pointing at Hisoka and Gon was right behind him.

I released the swords making them fly at him. He jumped to the left and dodged all of them.

"Tsk, next time i'll hit him for sure." I whispered.

Gon was ready to attack him from behind, he jumped and swung his fishing rod at Hisoka hitting him, but then disappears.

'An illusion?' I thought.

"You came to rescue your friend?" He asked.

'Friend?...' I never really thought that.

I charged at him but then it was another illusion. I landed back on my feet.

No matter how many times we swung at him we couldn't do it.

"I'm getting excited now." Hisoka grinned.

'Creep..' I thought.

Gon swung one once again, but he hit the sand for a distraction. Then he jumped behind him and attacked one more time.

Before he was able to hit him, Hisoka grabbed his throat.

"Gon!" I shouted.

I charged straight for him aiming my sword

Aiming for his arm, but he caught my other hand and threw me like I was a doll.

Coughing, I slowly got up. I saw Gon struggling trying to get air.

"Damn it.. Let go of Gon.." I manage to say.

'He has incredible strength..' I thought.

Before I could do anything else, Gon stopped moving.

"Crap. Gon!" I shouted.

When Gon stopped moving, Hisoka let go of him. I quickly went to his side.

He started talking, "Do not fear, I will not kill your friend." Hisoka started.

"He passed, yes you two passed as well. Grow up and become fine Hunters." He finished.

Then he got up, picked up Leorio and left.

"Gon, are you alright?" I asked.

"Yeah.." He said back.

Kurapika started running at us, so we ran back together to the Second Phase.
