The entire cast and crew were in the "adult" house. The clock read 11:55 which meant in five minutes Alyx would be one year older. This was different than other birthday celebrations, and she was extremely thankful to have so many people that truly cared for her. She had one arm around Alex and a drink in the other. It was 11:58 and everyone started to gather around, and Winona started to light the candles on a small blue birthday cake. Alyx reached for Dacre and took his hand instead of Alex's while she waited for the cake. Around her, Everyone was smiling and started to count down. She looked at Alex, who was next to David Harbour, and smiled her biggest smile. She looked at Natalia and Charlie, whom were secretly already in their own love story. She looked at the crew who helped her preform her job perfectly everyday, and she looked at all the kids, who really weren't kids, but nonetheless she loved all of them like her own younger siblings. Finally, she looked at the sweet boy attached to her arm, Dacre, who was now counting, "5,4,3,-" as he stared at Alyx. "Happy Birthday!" the group yelled in unison as she blew out the three candles atop the cake. Alyx smiled the biggest smile that was infectious to everyone around the room.

@lylasings a gift to all of you guys. a couple months ago, my sister Alyx Cameron Lane came home for a little bit and every night we would talk about how crazy it is to be without the person you love or have someone to love you constantly. we wrote this song because it has so much power. happy birthday Alyx. you are my best friend.
