Chapter 9: No, I don't!

Normal pov.

After leaving jingshi. Lan XiChen pulled Jiang Cheng to his room.

"Sect leader Lan, w-why did you bring me here? Ah and please let go of my hands" Jiang Cheng asking while looking at Lan XiChen.

Lan XiChen get closer to him until there's only few inches left between them.

Jiang Cheng gulped.

Jiang Cheng pov.

I'm not a cut sleeve, I'm not a cut sleeve,I'm not a cut sleeve...
I repeated those word in my head.

Lan XiChen is really close. And this stupid heart of mine beating so fast that it almost felt hurt.

His face got closer.

Oh no!

I shut my eyes. My face feel so hot.
He's not really going to kiss me right?

"Sect leader Jiang, would you mind to accompany me to searching for tanghulu?" He said. Right in my ear.

I feel ticklish and surprised. I step back then touch my ears.

"Y-you!!" I blushed so hard. Not because he say something right into my ears. But, it's because half of my heart already hoped that he will kiss me.

"Your answer,  sect leader Jiang?" He smiled gently. Like he didn't do anything wrong.

"Ugh... Okay,  I'll accompany you sect leader Lan"  I answered while trying to calm down.

Did I really become a cut sleeve and on top of that, fell for Lan XiChen?

While my head was busy, thinking about a fact that I just realize, suddenly Lan XiChen talked to me.

"Let's go then!" He pulled my hands again.

"E-eh... Right now?!"

Lan XiChen pov.

"Of course, sect leader Jiang. Didn't you hear that brother in law want it for tomorrow morning? "

He slowly nodded. "Is that what usually happened during pregnancy? Carving for something at unreasonable time?"

I nodded.

"You will experience it when the time comes" I smiled.

He stiffened.

"Ah.. Where should we search?" He asked. He changed the topic, quite nice choice.

We stepped out of Cloud Recesses.

"I don't really know where can we buy tanghulu, in the middle of the night like this" I answered.

The street is so quiet. There's almost no single soul can be seen, beside us. We keep walking around, hoping there will be someone who magically sell tanghulu in the middle of the night.

"Ah.. If we keep walking around like this, we won't find anything. Why don't we knocked some store who sell tanghulu and asked them to make some?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"I don't want to disturb their sleep. Anyway spending time with you, sect leader Jiang, is quite nice. I like it" I answered.

He didn't talk again and turning his gaze around. His ear is red.

I don't know Jiang Cheng is so easy to tease. And I taking a like to tease him more. Maybe I really am interested in him?

After walking for a couple hours, finally we found someone who's preparing to open his store.
