Chapter 10: Pride

Normal pov.

Jiang Cheng and Lan XiChen arrived at Cloud Recesses. It's still early in the morning, one hours left until Gusu Lan people awake.

"Sect leader Jiang, would you like to go to my room?" Lan XiChen asked.

Jiang Cheng flinched and looking at Lan XiChen with suspicious eyes.

"Why should I?"

"Well, you need to get rest. And since you came here unplanned, we haven't prepare room for you to stay" Lan XiChen explained.

Jiang Cheng thinking for a moment, then finally agree to come to Lan XiChen room.

Jiang Cheng pov.

We entered Lan XiChen room. I still feel a little bit embarrassed around Lan XiChen. When a silence moment come, my mind come back to the time when he kissed me.

"Sect leader Jiang, you can use this bed. I'll sleep in that room. Please call me if you need anything. Ah... Feel free to use the clothes on that drawer"

I nodded.

After changing my clothes, I lay down on the bed. It feels nice since I haven't sleep for 2 days in row.

My eyes become heavy and my consciousness almost driven away.

*knock knock knock*

"Sect leader Lan! Jiang Cheng!!! Wake up!  Where's my tanghulu?" A familiar voice yelled in front of the door.

I sighed and sit on top of the bed. I see Lan XiChen walking into the door and opened it.

Wei Wuxian pov.

I was standing in front of Lan XiChen room.

I'm sorry Jiang Cheng, Lan XiChen... I know it's still early and you guys must be tired now. But my precious little baby demanding his/her tanghulu now.

I knocked

"Sect leader Lan! Jiang Cheng!!! Wake up!  Where's my tanghulu?"

After waiting for a moment, Lan XiChen opened the door. His face look a bit annoyed but he still managed to smile nicely to me.

"I'm sorry sect leader Lan, I know you're tired, but... Can I get my tanghulu?"

He nodded and go inside to get it.

"Can you even wait for the sun to rise?" Jiang Cheng grumble.

"No. Oh by the way, did anything happen when you guys searching for tanghulu?" I grin.

He blushed. "N-nothing! Nothing happened!".

"Hmm suspicious" I smirked.

He turn his gaze around and refuse to talk back.

There must be something between them!

Suddenly Lan XiChen appear. He gave me a little plastic bag. There's six tanghulu inside. I happily take one and start to eat it.

"Thank you sect leader Lan!!" I said happily.

"No thank you for me huh?" Jiang Cheng said.

I looked at him then smiled.

"I'll leave now. Take a good rest you two!" I waved my hand and go back to jingshi.

"Lan Zhan, I'm back!!!" I entered jingshi with a bright smile in my face. My left hand holding a plastic bag and the other hand holding tanghulu.
