~Aaliyah's Pov~

We ended up in a barn and there was a huge storm that hit last night and there were walkers too. We all held the doors shut. Also, this morning. Sasha and Maggie were outside and there was a man that came up to them. His name is Aaron. He had a camp. It was weird because he knew all our names.

We didn't even tell him who we were. Right now Carl and I were on watch. The rest were going around, looking through the woods to see if he was really alone. Some other went to go see if he was telling the truth about having vehicles. "Can I- tell you something?" He asked looking around one more time, We had our guns out.

"What is it?" I asked. "Would it be too weird to say that i have- feelings for you..?" He asked. I looked at him and he looked at me. "Carl Grimes, Are you saying you like me?" I asked putting a hand over my chest, pretending to be shocked. The signs were there, everyone else saw them too but they didn't say anything.

He looked away smirking. "Since the prison.." He said. I smiled looking at him. He looked at me. "Guess it wouldn't be weird if i said i had feelings for you too, right?" I asked looking at him. He looked at me. "you do..?" he asked. I nodded looking at him. "Mhm," i said. "Since when..?" he asked. "Also, at one point at the prison.." i said looking at him. "Wait really.?" He asked.

I giggled looking at him. "What, you don't believe it?" i asked looking at him. "Um-" He shrugged. "Believe it.." i said smiling at him. "I'll believe it when we kiss" he said. I tilted my head looking at him as i smiled. "You're really doing that." I said. "Mhm." he said. I looked at him. "If we don't kiss, i won't believe it. If we do kiss, i'll believe it. And we'll make it official." he said smiling.

I smiled biting my bottom lip. He raised an eyebrow smiling, waiting. "Fine," i said and came up to him. We kissed and he dropped his guard, putting one of his hands on my cheek/neck. I put my hand on top of his but we pulled away quickly once we heard Vehicles. We hid, taking the safety off our guns. It was a get car and and RV. People came out and we saw it was Glenn, Maggie, Michonne, Rosita and Abraham. "He wasn't lying." i said looking at Carl as i smiled softly. We stood up straight and he looked at me.

"I believe it," he said looking at me. I smiled a bit and we walked up to the rest. Rick came out holding Judith. Carl took her and they started bring in food to the barn. Everyone was back now. They did have a lot of food. We should go to this place.. He's been telling the truth ever since he started talking.

"This, this is ours now." Rick said holding a can of food in his hands. "There's more than enough. It's ours, whether we go to your camp or not." Rick said. I looked at him confused. "What do you mean? Why wouldn't we go?" Carl asked looking at Rick as he walked back to us. "If he were lying or if he wanted to hurt us- but he isn't. And he doesn't. We need this. So we're going. All of us." She said looking around.

"Somebody say something if they feel differently." She said waiting for a few seconds. "I don't know man. This barn smells like horse shit." Daryl said looking at him. Rick nodded. "Yeah. We're going." he said.

~Morning~

We met up with everyone else. We met up with Aaron's boyfriend and we were driving over to their camp. I rested my head on Carl's shoulder. I hope this place lasts long for us, honestly we all needed this if it was true. Carl looked down at me but i kept looking at the floor, Just thinking.

We've been out for a while. The only good place we had was the prison, and that's gone. I hope that this place does us good. We deserve it after what we've been through. "what are you thinking about?" Carl asked. "Just hoping this place does us good.." i said. "If it's real. And if everything he's saying is true. It will. We need this." he said. I nodded. "Yeah, we do.." i said softly.

We ended up breaking down. We were on the side of the road, Glenn was checking the hood. Abraham hit the RV. "Can't win. Might as well paint it red and put a ladder on it." he said frustrated. "All we need is another battery." Glenn said looking at him. I looked at him. "Where the hell are we gonna find a new battery?" He asked. "Right over here." Glenn said walking over.

"Stand up for a second," Glenn said looking at me. I was sitting on the steps of the RV. I stood up and stepped aside. Glenn opened a small compartment and it revealed a new battery. "How'd you know those were there?" Abraham asked. "Cmon." Glenn said. Abraham stepped inside and i looked at Glenn. "Dale?" I asked softly.

He nodded. "Yeah." he said. I smiled a bit and he did too. They changed the battery and the RV started up again. Everyone clapped happily. We were moving again. Carl came up to me with Judith. "Dad wants me to go with him." He said. I nodded. "okay, I'll stay with Daryl." I said nodding. He nodded too and gave me a small smile. I returned it and we walked.

"Another romance novel?" Daryl asked as we walked. "Maybe." I said not looking at him. "Ain't no maybe. Yes or no. It's obvious as hell." he said. "Then why're you asking?" I asked. "Yes?" he asked. "Yes.." I said. "Mmm." He said looking at me as we got on the RV.

"Shut up." I said giving him a smile as i closed the door behind me.
