It's 11:45. This means it's almost time for lunch.

I expect Glenda to come and take me to the cafeteria. But I remember. She is on maternity leave.

Instead, Gary, the new nurse, will come and take me. He doesn't know anything about me, except for grandpa's orders. He has no idea what my favourite colour is. He won't be interested in how I've spent my day.

"Remember, Renesmee. You are not allowed to make any kind of contact with people," Gary reminds me when we are in the elevator. I obediently nod my head.

I don't understand why can't I speak to other people. I am not dangerous, at all. I would never hurt anyone intentionally.
