Jesse pov I'm in training and Lils is here watching. All the lads of course are teasing me about her. Marcus has Laid off a bit but Paul, Luke And Rom are all still very much on the situation.
At our break I run over to the edge of the training pitch where Lils is stood, obviously being watched by the boys. "You're doing so well!" She says hugging me over the railing barrier thing. "Thanks" I say pulling out of the hug. "They taking the piss out of us again?" She chuckles. "You know it" I say laughing. She shakes her head smiling.
We leave training together, we're walking through the car park. The press are all shouting at me "Is it true what Amelia said?" "Did you cheat?" "Who were the fans you slept with?" "Is Delilah your new girlfriend?" "Why did you cheat so many times on Amelia?" That's some of the stuff they shout. I ignore them and walk to my car. Delilah looks infuriated by them and their questions. "what's with these invasive personal questions?Jesse broke up with Amelia because they didn't work out. Not because he cheated or anything, Jesse wouldn't do that and I know that, not because I'm his supposed new girlfriend but because I've been his best friend for 8 years, So please back off and leave him alone, he has lots of big games coming up he needs to focus on so let him do his thing please. Thank you" She says to them all. I turn around to see the paparazzi's faces. They all just look so shocked. She walks over to me and smiles "let's go" she says calmly and happily. I'm at a loss for words, I get in the car. "Thank you" I say to her turning to face her. "Anytime" She says fastening her seatbelt.
Few days later

Delilah pov I walk into Jesse's house and find him stood in the hallway waiting. He looks nervous. "Are you alright Jess?" I ask closing the door behind me. "Yeah well no well yeah I am but bit nervous and I understand if you don't think the same or whatever" he says rambling "Right well hit me" I say shrugging. He steps closer to me.
Flashback to earlier that morning
Jesse pov "Bro you should get with Lils" Paul says "This again" I say shaking my head laughing. "Yes. You need to realise you love her" Luke says I roll my eyes at them. "I do love her" I say "Yeah but do you love her love her" Paul says "What's the difference?" I ask shrugging. "Is she the best part of your day?" Luke asks "Well yeah" I say. "Do you prioritise her needs over yours?" Paul asks "Yes I do, I'd do anything" I say slouching on the couch. "Do you always stare at her?" Luke asks causing Paul to laugh "In a non creepy way!" Luke exclaims. "Yeah I do" I admit "Dude!" Paul shouts I look confused "Mate you're in love" Luke says. "I-I am?" I ask confused "Yes and it's about time you realised bro" Paul says. I am. I am in love with Delilah. Oh my god.
Flashback over
"I have a confession" he says moving even closer to me. My breath hitches. "I had a discussion with the boys earlier and... well" he says scratching the back of his neck. "I really like you Lils, you don't have to say anything and I don't want it to ruin our friendship because well 8 years of friendship is a long time and I don't want to have fucked it up so you don't have to say anything, you could just leave or stay I don't mind" he says nervously. I'm at a loss for words. "I- I- Jesse..." I trail off. "It's fine I get it you don't feel the same, Wow I fucked it up big time didn't I?" He says nervously laughing stepping back. "Jesse!" I exclaim as he tries to walk away. He turns around to face me. "It was a lot to take in that's all" I say shrugging. He looks awkwardly to the floor. I walk slowly towards him. I stare into his eyes and he does the same. The next thing you know his lips are pressed against mine. I wrap my arms around his neck and he puts his hands on my waist. It's a short but passionate kiss. "You have no idea how long I've waited for that" I blurt out. I bite my lip and close my eyes when I realise I've just admitted that. "You have?" Jesse chuckles still holding my waist and my arms still around his neck. "Yeah.... for the past 5 years actually" I admit nervously. "Well can I take you on a date?" He asks me smirking. "Of course, I would love that" I say. "Woah this is so weird!" Jesse says in amazement. "I know right!" I exclaim. "If it's too fast-" he says removing his hands from my waist. "No Jesse it's fine" I laugh.
