The sequel | part 11

Delilah pov
I'm waiting at Marcus and Lucia's house for them to come home from their honeymoon.
When they get back they're throwing a party to kind of welcome themselves home.
Suddenly the doorbell goes.
I rush over to the door and open it to see them both looking so so happy.
Alright for some.
Okay don't be jealous.
I hug them both.
"Hey guys" I say excitedly to them
They walk into their house smiling with their arms linked.
"Hi! How is our house and our dogs?" Marcus asks
"They're fine. All is fine yeah" I say closing the front door.
"How's you and Jesse been?" Lucia asks as they both take a seat on the couch.
"Us? Yeah. Fine. Yup. Good. Fine. Yeah" I say casually but they're not buying it
"Something happened didn't it?" Marcus asks raising an eyebrow
"Nope. Why would you think that?" I nervously laugh.
"You're acting so weird" Lucia says
"No. Enough about me, tell me all about your honeymoon. Come on I want all the deets" I say sitting on the couch putting my feet up.
They then tell me all about the honeymoon and the beautiful scenery and the fun activities they did. It sounds amazing.
"It sounds incredible I'm glad you both had a good time" I smile at them.
They smile at each other and peck each other's lips.
They're so loved up it's adorable.
Then all of a sudden the front door swings open and in barges Jesse.
"Beans!" He exclaims
He walks over and him and Marcus do their iconic handshake.
"Just let yourself in then" Lucia mumbles.
I laugh at Lucia's comment and she smirks at me.
"Hey Lucy loo loo" Jesse says and Lucia smiles at him.
"Hey Lils" he says smiling over at me as he takes a seat.
"Hi" I say
Lucia looks at her watch and says
"We should start getting ready for this party now... come on" she says and grabs my hand and pulls me off the couch.
I roll my eyes and smile at Marcus
He laughs.

Jesse pov
I watch Lucia and Lils leave.
Marcus is sat smirking at me whilst I was Watching them leave.
"Something has happened between you two whilst we were gone and I can't tell whether it's good or bad" he says inquisitively
I sigh and roll my eyes.
"Something has I know it!" Marcus exclaims
"Right Fine" I say giving in
I lean closer to Marcus
"The night of the wedding we made out in a store cupboard but she stopped because she felt it was too harsh on Adam so she went outside and broke up with him. Then she disappeared and I couldn't find her. Then I went back to the hotel and she was at the bar. Long story short we had more drinks at the hotel and ended up having sex" I whisper
"Oh my god" Marcus says astonished
"And whilst you were on the honeymoon I took her to the restaurant for a meal and we kissed" I whisper emphasising 'the'
Marcus looks so shocked.
"Oh my god Jess!" He exclaims
"Mhm" I nod and lean back away from him.
"You two- are- two- like-thi-tog-" Marcus says still taken aback
"No we are not together if that's what you're asking" I chuckle
"No but mate you may as well be! From what you've just told me it sounds like you are together" Marcus chuckles
I smile and shake my head at him.

Delilah pov
Lucia drags me into her bedroom by holding my arm.
"So tell me all between you and Jesse" she says smirking
"There's nothing to tell" I say shrugging.
"Come on I know you and I know that's not true so spill!" Lucia demands smirking
"Fine" I say as I sit on the bed.
She smiles and sits next to me.

Then I went back to the hotel and sat at the bar, Jesse appeared at the bar. Long story short we had more drinks at the hotel and ended up having sex" I blurt out
"Oh my god!" Lucia exclaims
"He took me to the restaurant as well and we kissed there" I admit
"Oh my days! You guys are a thing again!" She says excitedly
"No we're not! We're not together. In fact I don't know what we are" I shrug
"You two are idiots you should just both get back together, you're made for one another" Lucia says smiling
"If we were then the universe wouldn't of made us stay a whole year apart" I confess
"Maybe the universe thought the year would've been good to realise how much you really love each other and how much he means to you" Lucia says
Wow. That actually hit me quite hard.
I AM still in love with Jesse and he does mean everything to me... still even after the whole year.
I think the whole year apart made my feelings grow stronger for him. I just don't know about him or his feelings.
"Anyway come on let's get ready for this party" I smile and jump off the bed.
Lucia smiles and we get ready together.
