Two months later

Jesse pov
Over the past two months we have been getting a lot closer.
We are the strongest we have ever been and Ellis is the happiest he's ever been.
Life is just perfect right now.

Delilah pov

I am almost falling asleep on the couch in my house with Ellis. He's already asleep and I was just nodding off when I feel my phone vibrate next to me.
I slowly lean over trying not to disturb Ellis.

Jesse🥰❤️:
Meet me at our special restaurant in 1 hour. Xx

Me:
Not to sound rude but why? xx

Jesse:
Just do, it's important. I have my mum coming round to collect Ellis in 20 mins. Xx

Me:
You're being very suspicious but okay. I'll get Ellis ready. Xx

Jesse:
Thank you, I love you xx

Me:
Love you too xx

I wonder what Jesse is going on? I really hope it's nothing bad. Me and Jesse have been in such a good place the past two months and I don't want anything to ruin it.

I have Ellis dressed and ready to go with Kirsty.
"You behave for your nana today okay?" I say bending down to him fixing his collar on his jacket.
"Yes mummy" he says smiling
"Good boy" I say ruffling his hair and standing back up.
His hands rush to the top of his head to fix his hair. He is so like his dad.

I hear the doorbell ring and it must be Kirsty.
I hold Ellis's hand and walk over to the door.
As soon as I open it Ellis runs over to her and hugs her legs shouting "nan!"
"Hi how are you?" I ask hugging her being careful of Ellis who is clinging to her legs.
"I'm good thank you" she replies smiling

She lifts Ellis up and holds him on her hip.
"Has Jesse mentioned anything to you?" I ask her
"He just told me you both have stuff to do so if I could look after Ellis for a bit it would be great" She says
"Very odd" I say thinking
"Anyway I best get going" she says rushing down the driveway.
"Oh okay then!" I shout down to her
"Bye!" She shouts as she rushes into her car.
"Bye" I say unsure
She left very abruptly.

Jesse pov

I wait nervously at our special restaurant in the car park stood beside my car.
I see her car pull in and she parks beside me.
She steps out and oh my does she look beautiful as always.
"You look beautiful" I say kissing her cheek
"Thank you. Not too bad yourself" she says giggling
"Shall we?" I ask holding my arm out for her to link.
"We shall" she smiles and links my arm.

Delilah pov

I think we are going to the restaurant to eat until he guides me to the passenger seat of his car.
"What I thought we were going inside?" I ask confused as he opens the door for me.
"No no no" he laughs like it was a silly assumption
Well sorry. You asked to meet me at a restaurant, sorry for thinking we'd be eating food.

I sit in the car and close the door, Jesse gets in the drivers side.
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a blindfold.
"What the fuck is going on here?" I ask confused
"Just trust me and put this on" he says calmly
I am hesitant at first but I eventually put it on

He's driving for what feels like forever.
"Right you can take it off now" he says as I feel the car stop.
I look out the window to see a big house.
"Right what's this?" I ask extremely confused
"This is where our friendship began. At this house party" he says pointing to it.
"Oh my gosh yes it was!" I exclaim
There is a short moment of silence before I speak up
"Put your blindfold back on" he laughs
"Again?" I ask shocked
"Yes" he laughs starting the car
"Fine" I sigh and put it on
