Delilah pov Most of their wedding plans have come together so far. the wedding is tomorrow so excitement levels are high! We are at rehearsals now. We are in the main room in the castle where the party will be. I'm sat at a table with Marcus, Lucia and Adam.
Jesse pov I'm sat at a table with Paul, Luke, dele, Jadon sancho and raheem. I keep looking at Delilah and Adam. She keeps on laughing and stroking his arms. They seem so loved up it's killing me inside. "You okay bro?" Paul asks. "Yeah yeah I'm fine" I say casually. He nods and they all carry on with their conversation. I don't join in as I continue to stare at Adam and Delilah. They're laughing and looking deep into each other's eyes. He pulls her in for a kiss and I see her smile into it. I'm not being a creep. Honestly! "You seem distracted?" Raz asks (raheem) tilting his head at me. "His ex girlfriend is currently over there with her new boyfriend" Luke points over to them both canoodling. He nods and Jadon makes an 'ooooh' sound "You missed a treat with that one" Dele jokes I shake my head laughing at him, raz elbows him. "Oi!" Dele says holding his arm. Raz laughs at dele and elbows him again "Will you stop that?" Dele demands laughing. I'm not paying much attention to them as I'm still keeping an eye on this Adam bloke and what he's doing with my Delilah. Marcus says something to them both and Adam and Delilah hug Lucia and Marcus before they leave together. As they walk out Adam has his hand on Delilah's lower back and I'm not pleased with that. "Jess, you're looking very creepy" Jadon whispers as he is sat next to me. I chuckle slightly and sigh. This wedding is going to be tough.
Delilah pov We don't go back to the hotel we decide to go out around town. And I show Adam some stuff around Manchester.

We arrive back at the hotel at around 10:30pm. We were out for about 5 hours just having fun together, spending time with each other. It was lovely. We walk into the lobby to find Jesse stood at the bottom of the stairs with his arms crossed. It's like he was waiting for us? "And where have you been?" He asks us "What's it to you?" I say placing a hand on my hip "Just want to know, you've been gone for ages" he scoffs with his arms still folded. "What So now you're a stalking ex? I'm no longer your problem Jesse" I say and walk past him up the stairs. "Ain't cool bro" Adam says before proceeding to follow me up the stairs.
Jesse pov I hear her say to him whilst walking up the stairs "He's been a dick recently sorry" she says to Adam loudly so I can hear. "Ain't your fault" he laughs. I shake my head and walk to the bar in the hotel.
My hands shaking as I grab my 4th pint. It's now 12:03am Adam doesn't deserve Delilah. I think it's just hitting me now... the heartbreak. I knew this would happen when I broke up with Natalie. She just numbed my feelings, now she's gone the feelings are hitting me. I can't handle them so I'm drinking at the bar, I don't care if I will have a hangover at the wedding and that I'll probably end up drinking like mad tomorrow night when I have to see Adam and Delilah kissing all the time and dancing together. I start to cry and crash my head on the bar. Sobbing to myself. "Jesse? What's wrong? Why are you still awake? The wedding is tomorrow" the voice says sweetly behind me. I know exactly who that is. I feel her hand on my back. I look up and see Delilah with a worried expression. She sits on the stool next to me. "Look I know we are not on good terms or anything but you can tell me anything. Your best friend is still inside here" she says placing a hand on her chest. I smile and attempt to pull myself together. "If you loved me why did you leave me?" I ask drying my face with my t-shirt. She gives me a sympathetic smile. "Because I did love you and I thought you didn't love me. We both got it messed up completely Jesse" she says with a warm smile. I down the rest of my pint. I order myself another drink. She orders herself one. "I'll join you if you don't mind?" She says leaning on the bar with her right elbow. "What about Adam?" I ask trying not to sound bitter. She laughs as she is handed her drink. "He's in Jake's old room so he won't even know I'm not in mine. Not that it's an issue that I'm down here with you" she smiles taking a sip of her drink. I smile and gulp my new drink. "Watching you leave the airport to go to Paris was like no other feeling I've ever known" I admit She sips her drink and stares at me. Her blue eyes shining at me. She gives me a weak smile. "I got three speeding tickets going to the airport that day to stop you" I chuckle "Seriously?" She laughs I nod drinking my drink. She laughs and shakes her head. "I hated not speaking to you for a whole year, I dialled your number everyday but didn't ever press call because I didn't know what to start with" she says looking to the floor awkwardly. I smile "I'm sorry" she says sighing. "Me too" I say looking to the floor messing with my watch. "No really I am. I'm sorry I left without us sorting it all out. If I had of stayed we probably would've been alright. So I'm sorry I fucked us up forever" she says, her eyes getting glossier as they fill with tears. I look up from the floor to her gorgeous face. "No it really wasn't your fault, I was such a dick and I should've let you explain what happened and I shouldn't have tried to hide my feelings by insulting you the way I did. I truly am sorry and not a day goes by I don't regret it" I admit She suddenly lets out a few tears. I lean forward and wipe them away with my thumb. "You honestly don't know how long I've waited for closure" she says laughing through her tears. The next thing I feel is her wrapping her arms around my waist and hugging me. It takes a few seconds before I react and I wrap my arms around her. I smile as we hug for a while. "So have I got my best friend back?" I ask smirking as we pull out of our long hug. She smiles and we do our handshake. "She's back" she laughs as we finish our handshake. "I've missed this... you and I just able to talk and it not be awkward" I say downing the rest of my drink. "Me too" she smiles. I start to order another drink, I'm stopped by her placing her hand over mine that sits on the bar. "I think you've had enough, you don't want to mess up your best man speech tomorrow" she says. I look down at her hand on mine. She jumps off the stool thus removing her hand from the top of mine. She starts to walk out of the bar. "You coming?" She asks. I pay the barman and jump off my stool to follow her. We walk to our rooms reminiscing and laughing. We stop outside our rooms and hug once more before parting ways. "Goodnight Jesse" She says smiling "Goodnight Lils" I say smiling back. And with that we disappear off into our rooms. ________________________________ Next chapter is the wedding! Omg
