Chapter 10: Charlotte's Death

It had been night now and Bellamy and Sawyer were running around in the woods looking for where Finn and Clarke had taken the girls

"Charlotte!" Murphy yelled in the woods

"Do you think they are safe?" Sawyer asked as they kept walking. "Clarke and Finn are annoying but they're smart" Bellamy responds, Sawyer nods and kept quiet as the 2 kept walking

"Maybe we should separate, cover more ground" Sawyer said breaking the silence again

"No, no way Sawyer, we're not separating" Bellamy declared shaking his head as he grabs the girl's arm to stop her from walking "And why not!" Sawyer argued

"Why not?" Bellamy scoffed "Because a grounder could easily pluck your skinny ass off the ground and no one would notice" Sawyer rolled her eyes in his response because she knew he was right

Footsteps were heard in the distance Bellamy grabbed Sawyer and pushed her down behind a tree. 2 small figures were in a distance "Oh my god, Bellamy its Charlotte and Peta" Bellamy looked up 

"Grab them"

The 2 girls stood next to the tree, "Charlotte this is a bad idea we should have stayed back!" Peta cries clearly afraid of the dark. Sawyer pushes on Bellamy's back and the 2 jump out grabbing the girls

They screamed, Peta calmed down when she saw it was Sawyer but Charlotte kept screaming until Bellamy covered her mouth

"Shh shh" Bellamy quieted her down

"Don't worry we won't hurt you!" they heard a boy scream tauntingly

"Bellamy we gotta go" he nodded and they grabbed the girls taking off. Peta and Sawyer held hands and led the way Charlotte in Bellamy's hold

"Let me go!" Charlotte screamed. "Hey, hey we are trying to help you" Bellamy scolded "I'm not your sister! Just stop helping me. I'm over here!" Charlotte yelled running off

Bellamy grabbed her again. Sawyer could see the hurt on Bellamy's face after her comment causing her to take over

"Are you trying to get us all killed? Because that's what will happen Charlotte if they catch us" Sawyer explained

"Just go ok, please just go i'm the one they want" Charlotte begged

Peta let go of Sawyer and moved in front of Charlotte "Hey! Hey listen to me Charlotte, I can't loose you. Please just let them help you" a tear fell from Peta's eye and Charlotte's face softened

"Please Peta" Charlotte pushed Peta off of her and started yelling "Murphy! I'm over here!" 

"Grab her" Sawyer instructs

Bellamy throws the girl over his shoulder and covers her mouth they all took off wanting to create some distance between them and Murphy's posse 

"Come on out, Charlotte! Come on out!" Murphy yelled. Sawyer could see the torches in the distance "Hurry hurry run faster" she begged

They didn't run fast enough because right now Murphy and his dumb goons were only feet behind the group. Charlotte kept screaming begging for Murphy to take her

"Sawyer i'm scared" Peta cried as they kept running Sawyer didn't have time to reply

They were at a dead end. Bellamy put Charlotte down and Sawyer pulled Peta into her arms to reduce the chance of her falling off

"Damn it" Bellamy groaned

"Bellamy!" Murphy yelled. Sawyer's head turned quick at the sound "You can't fight all of us just give her up"
