Asia's eyes skim over the group who stand in front of the school, it's been three days since the party and everyone is tense. The wolves keep showing up to Forks High without warning, meaning Jessica has been swooning more than usual.

She's standing by her car, she'd seen Niklaus again that morning and was not very happy about it. Asia is now in a foul mood. And the Devil combined with a bad mood is a recipe for complete disaster. So when the new students exited the school, she scoffed and stomps angrily past them. She bumps the boy in the shoulder on the way and immediately feels like her arm is on fire. And it feels good.

She stops and glances back as the boy does the same. He sticks his hand out to her and smirks, at her, "Kol Mikaelson, at your service, love."

Asia scowls and ignores his hand. The second and third Mikaelson's have arrived in Forks.

The devil glares forward at the teacher as she drones on and on. The normal Religion teacher is off on vacation in Mexico. This substitute is one of the most boring and annoying people she has ever had the displeasure of meeting.

"Is there a problem Ms. Morningstar?" It's at this point that she would normally sass the teacher and tell her she's worse than Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter movies, but she's not in the mood. She mutters a 'no' before returning her gaze to the papers in front of her. Alice and Jasper look to each other over the top of Asia's bowed head. They don't know what's wrong, but something is definitely up.

Asia leans over the toilet in her lavish Los Angeles apartment over Lux, She's vomiting black sludge. Her father is purging her of her evil tendencies, but they just keep coming back. There is no cleansing of an already blackened heart.

She couldn't keep throwing up in the girl's bathroom at school, so she's come back to LA, just until tomorrow and allows Mazikeen to tend to her illness. Amenadiel says it should only last until then anyway, which is slightly reassuring to her. Not much, but slightly.

Her phone rings across the room and Maze rushes to pick it up, "Hello?"

"Hey... Is Asia there?" The demon pulls the phone away from his ear and looks at the name blazoned across the top of the screen. Bella.

"No she's throwing up, would you like me to interrupt her?" Bella begins to frantically protest but Maze doesn't pay her any mind. He taps the tired devil on the shoulder before putting the device to her ear.

"What do you want?"

"Asia I'm so sorry! It's just you didn't ditched school or the meeting we're holding right now and I got worried!" She can tell the Cullens are listening on the other end, curious as to what's wrong.

"Bella I will be back at school and I'll show up to the training session, just screw off and let me be sick, please."

The human girl is taken aback by the final word she hears from Asia. Please. For as long as she's known her, Asia has never said please. Something must be truly wrong.

Asia leans over the porcelain bowl again and empties her stomach of more black sludge.

"Thanks for calling." Maze throws the phone out of the bathroom and onto the king sized master bed. "You gonna be okay Queen?" Lucifer nods slightly as she leans back against the vanity; her eyes slide shut and her muscles relax.

Maze sighs and lifts his best friend from the ground. He gently lays her on the bed and covers her with the expensive duvet. She sighs and snuggles her body under the sheets.

Maze leaves the room and heads to the bar which is deserted. The bartenders are wiping down the countertops and cleaning up all the stray glasses and beer bottles.

Kyle looks up as Mazikeen enters the room, "Is she okay?" Maze looks up from the floor and gives Kyle a glare.

"No, she's not, why do you care?" Kyle turns a dark shade of red and returns to his job. Maze grumbles and sits in front of the piano. He begins playing a tune, and hums along with it.

The next day isn't much better for Asia, it feels like she has a hangover, not an Angel flu. She lets her head rise from her desk and glares at the empty seat of the teacher. The substitute got sick and they couldn't find a replacement. Most kids take this opportunity to act like wild animals, but all Asia wants to do is burn down the entire school.

As the bell rings, Asia is the last out the door, following Alice and Jasper. They whisper amongst themselves and occasionally glance back at Asia as she heads toward the gymnasium.

Once the devil enters she heads straight for the teacher, ready to murder someone if they all don't shut up.

"Mr. Miller, I need to sit out today. I'm sick." Mr. Miller notes her sunglasses and scowls.

He loudly demands in front of everyone, "Are you hungover in my class?" This gains the attention of Kol and Rebekah Mikaelson.

"No, I have the flu."

"Mikaelson! Take her to the nurse." Kol immediately steps up and grabs her arm. But she stumbles and almost falls. So he scoops her up and carries her as they're stared at with complete jealousy.

He leans his head down to her ear.

"Wonderful way to meet my mate."

BONUS:

A black orb floats in a room entirely engulfed in white. The essence of Lucifer's heart. Her heart will glow white once every 10,000 years. The day where she purges her darkness. Only for a split second and then it will return to the inky black colour it is now.

A bearded man stands on one side of the room leaning against one of the walls. God, Yahweh, Jehovah whatever you want to call him. Every 10,000  years he returns to this room and watches the light flicker through her heart. To remind him anything is possible. That if the Devil herself can be good for a split second, then man deserves a chance to prove themselves.

The man dressed in white turns toward the invisible door and leaves the room. Leaving the orb to float in an endless field of white.
