2~ Together

Is it just me, or when everyone gets together to celebrate only one person-it's just flat out weird?

I don't see the point, we celebrate at Christmas.

Whatever, I guess.

Last night-or, I may as well say this morning-I came back inside around five. Then went back to sleep for a few more hours.

Dylan probably went back to sleep for a few more hours, as well. At least I hope so. Whenever I come out early in the morning for a smoke, he ends up out here, too.

But he always hates it. Not being outside with me-just seeing me vape. I guess.

I still don't understand why he follows me outside at four in the morning on most days. He hates seeing me smoke and basically increase my chances of dying early, why come?

But, like I said to Dylan, my vape doesn't even have nicotine in it. No way in hell does it have drugs. Just something to calm me down when I need it.

I think the legal smoking age is-like-eighteen. Well, I'm fifteen. Technically fourteen since I was born at eight in the evening.

So, am I breaking the law? Yes.

Do I care? No.

It ain't like I'm going to get tossed into jail for it.

Well... how I got the vape is a whole other story. Which I could get tossed into jail for.

But those cops don't got nothin' on me. I'm a Cohen. I bet my dad has done some pretty badass stuff throughout his life, yet he's not in jail.

My mother probably hasn't done anything illegal throughout her time of living. Mainly because she was the 'goody two shoes' in high school. As well as the top, female athlete. And the smartest.

Probably where Dylan gets his personality from. He couldn't break a law if his life depended on it.

Yet, I don't know if I've ever actually followed the rules. It's almost like I'm living two lives. At home, I've got to be a good influence on the younger ones. At school, I don't give a care in the world.

Smarts ain't my thing, athletic stuff is. Just like my dad.

I guess you could say I look up to my dad very much. More than anyone.

He really is a role model in my eyes.

"Blair?" A male voice called through my door with a quick 'knock, knock, knock'.

It wasn't my dads, it sounded a lot like Uncle Noah's.

"Yeah?" I replied. I heard the faint 'click' sound of my door being opened, then my uncle came into vision.

"Hey, kiddo!" He exclaimed excitedly, walking over to where I was sitting on my bed and ruffling my hair.

I let out a huff and pushed his hand off of my head as he sat down,

"Hey."

He let out a sigh,

"Why so gloomy? It's your birthday!"

My eyes met his and I slightly chuckled,

"How are you always so happy and energetic?"

He put his right hand on my left shoulder and shook it a bit,

"Just happy thoughts."

I cracked a small smile, I love how he looks at life.

Uncle Noah is my moms twin. He married my moms best friend, Lilli. Him and my mom are very much alike. Their piercing blue eyes are almost the exact same.
