"It's only our second day on the run, and we're already going to risk everything to go out in public?" Courtney questioned, walking down the stairs.

"We're not risking anything. It's perfectly safe, and besides, we need bathing suits." Lola answered.

"We don't need them, the hot tub probably doesn't even work." Charlie retorted.

"It doesn't," Marla started, walking in,

"Just checked, water is freezing cold and it won't work."

"Well, can one of the guys fix it?" Alexa asked.

"Probably not. But I'll text the group chat and ask." Lola stated.

"Wait," Alexa said,

"Blair, don't you do coding?"

I nodded,

"But fixing a hot tub is a whole other story."

"Well, can you try?" Lola asked.

I glanced at everyone as they all looked at me with puppy dog eyes,

"Guess so."

~~~
"Is it fixed?" Lola asked me for about the seventh time.
"Oh my god, would you leave her be?" Courtney demanded.
"I'm just asking..." she trailed off, heading back inside.
Well, I think I have fixed it, anyways.
I stood up from my crouched position, and began fiddling with the control pad.
Set to one hundred ninety six degrees Fahrenheit...
Then, I hit the 'start' button. And on came the colour changing lights in the tub, as well as bubbles-letting me know that it's heating up.
I grinned to myself for a brief moment before turning around and opening the patio doors leading into the cabin. The hot tub is on a wooden deck-the deck leading to the other cabin.
Okay, let me try to make this less confusing. There's a wooden, wrap around deck at each cabin, but between the two decks is a ten foot wide walkway, I think. And on that walkway is the hot tub.
"Is it fixed?" Lola immediately asked.
I nodded, and they all squealed. The hell? All it is, is a hot, mini pool.
"We're going to the nearest mall, ladies!" Courtney explained.
"I'm gonna go grab my card." Courtney stated.
"We can't use our cards," I started,
"Our families were once gangs, they have tracking skills and are probably waiting for us to use our cards or bank accounts-then they'll hunt us down."
The bus of realization has officially arrived, then Marla spoke up,
"Oh well, looks like we can't go."
"Did nobody bring actual cash?" Charlie questioned.
Everyone shook their heads, then I got everyone's attention,
"We can make one large account under a fake name, then E-Transfer money to it, then just take it all out and distribute it."
"Oh thank god, you're smart." Lola sighed.
We all chuckled slightly.
"Well, get started." Courtney demanded.
I nodded and walked off. One thing that I brought was my laptop. Just, when I was packing, I felt like I would need it. Turns out, I did.
