"Last call for flight 346 to Buffalo, last call for flight 346 to Buffalo"
As I sprinted across the airport I couldn't help but wonder, what's next?

As I close the front door, I turn around and walk into the kitchen. I see my dad sitting at the counter eating a sandwich, looking up at me and smiling as I walk into the room.
"Hey dad."
"Hi sweets, you hungry?"
"Yeah, I'm just gonna have a bowl of cereal if that's alright."
"Sure, better than you eating nothing."
I walk to the pantry and grab Honey Nut Cheerios. I place the box on the counter, doing a quick 360 to the fridge to grab the almond milk. My dad told me that he decided to boycott dairy products last year, which I didn't mind.
I grab a bowl from the cabinet, going on my tip toes to reach the top shelf. As I pour the cereal in the bowl and then the milk overtop, I get a spoon from the drawer to my left and lean over the counter across from my dad.
"So, this Harry fella. Is he any good?" My dad inquires.
"He's really sweet so far, and he's Liam's best man so we'll be seeing a lot more of each other as the wedding gets closer."
"Well for the record, I'm a fan. I ship it, as the kids say."
I facepalm. "Where did you hear that?"
"Twitter."
"Remind me to block you on Twitter."
"Sure thing queen. Love that for you."
"I'm removing myself from this toxic environment." I say laughing as I walk to the family room and plop myself down on the couch. I turn on the television and open up Netflix, deciding to watch Skins.

Placing my now empty cereal bowl on the table, I hear the doorbell ring. I get up, and make my way over to the door. As I open it, I'm greeted by Rebecca's glowing face, immediately giving me a tight hug.
"Margot! I'm so happy to see you; you have no idea."
"Hey Becca, I've missed you."
As Rebecca walks in, my dad approaches, giving her a hug as well.
"You look as beautiful as ever sweetie, it's that pre-wedding glow."
"As I've been told Uncle Ben, as I've been told."
"Well I won't hold you two ladies up, go have fun."
"I'll see you later dad."
"Good to see you Uncle Ben!"
As Rebecca and I walk out of the house and make our way to her car, we quickly talk about how beautiful her dress is going to look. I climb in the car and buckle, excited for how the rest of this already lovely day will pan out.
"So Margot, how's life been treating ya?"
"Not too bad as of late, I met Harry."
"Liam's best man? That's great! He's quite sweet, and a cutie might I add."
"Yeah, he stayed the night actually."
Rebecca looked over at me in shock. "What?!?! No way!!!"
"Nothing happened I promise, but he's a bloody sweetheart I'll tell you that much."
"I love that you've picked up the British slang, it makes you sounds ten times cuter."
"Yeah since my voice is quite annoying without the slight accent." I laugh.
"It'd be so precious if you two became a thing, almost like fate right?"
"Yeah, pretty crazy if you ask me."
We then sit in silence until we reach the bridal boutique. Once we both get out of the car and head inside, I am welcomed by rows and rows of beautiful white gowns. I've never thought about marriage before, but seeing things like this makes me dream of the future.
Rebecca waltzes over to the front desk, saying her name to the lady sitting behind it. She tells us to wait a moment, so we decide to browse.
"I can't wait for your wedding Margot." My cousin says, leafing through the dresses protected by plastic coverings.
"I can assure you that it won't be happening for a while." I laugh.
"You say that now, but I never thought I'd be getting married, let alone before I turn 30. But then I met Liam, and everything changed."
"You two are the sweetest, I can't believe I haven't meet him yet."
"You'll meet him at the rehearsal dinner, and I'm sure you'll love him as much as I do."
As Rebecca finishes speaking, we are approached by a consultant who ushers us to one of the dressing rooms. I wait in the sitting area as my cousin puts on her dress with the help of the bridal consultant.
When she steps out, my mouth subconsciously becomes agape. I've never seen Rebecca dressed in anything like this. I'm in awe.
"Becca you look absolutely beautiful."
"Oh hush, just wait until I have my makeup and hair done, then you'll really be floored."
We both laugh, her white lace short-sleeved dress moving with her as she twirls around.
"I love that dress, it's very you."
"Right? I liked the vintage look it has."

I take a picture in the mirror with Becca to remember the trip by, and she then ascends back to the dressing room so she can take her dress home.

As we are driving back to my childhood home, Rebecca and I chat about random things, about how Buffalo has been getting on without me, and how much her parents have missed me.
It feels good to catch up. I never thought that I'd want to come home, but now that I'm here, I'm glad. But, as I'm talking with my cousin, my mind can't help but wander to Harry. Something about him is just...infatuating.

author's note
Hey! I'm back! Less than a week later! I've actually been inspired to write, believe it or not, so I managed to write the longest chapter that this story has so far!
I hope y'all enjoyed it, I plan to update more frequently now since I've kinda figured out where I want this story to go.
