A shrill ring awoke Eleanor Forbes from her sleep, causing the blonde to turn on her side and reach aimlessly for her phone. Feeling the side of her phone, she grasped onto it. Her blurry vision reading Klaus on the caller ID. She lightly sighed, wondering what he could want as she was the one who'd packed him up last night for his trip to Italy to grave rob an old acquaintance, or so he says. Originally, she'd been planning to hang out with Rebekah, but she was nowhere to be found last night. So, after walking in on Klaus struggling with packing, she offered to help and did so diligently. Pressing the green button, she pushed the phone up to her ear. "Hello?"

"He's escaped," at first, she had no idea who Klaus was talking about. "Connor has escaped, Eleanor." The vampire shot up right from her relaxed position, immediately sitting up and pushing her hair back as fear slowly set in. "I have already told Stefan, and neither of us know exactly where he is yet."

"How did he escape? Last night he was still as captivated as the first time I'd seen him," her mind wandered back to the glimpse she'd seen of him barely ten hours before, how his hands were still tightly brought over his head and how his eyes continuously glared at the wood floor.

"He's a tricky one, that hunter. I need you to stay inside, do what you need to. I need you to stay safe, Eleanor." His tone took on one of desperation and worry; emotions not typically associated with the hybrid.

Eleanor moved to the side of her bed, swiftly getting up and she paused before answering her friend. "I'm going to try and help to find him, I will. But I'll try to remain safe."

A sigh echoed from the phone's speaker, a small sign of Klaus' annoyance with how she couldn't simply sit it out. "I guess that's the best I'll be getting. Goodbye, love. Keep me updated along with the others."

Before she could mutter her own farewell, the original hung up, leaving the young vampire to begin getting ready. After changing from her pyjamas into leggings and a loose hoodie, she snatched her phone from its place on her dresser. Skimming through her contacts, she found the guy she'd been looking for. Tapping onto Stefan, she quickly called him and pushed for him to be on speaker phone while she grabbed her purse and keys.

On the second ring, he picked up. "El, hey."

"Do we have a location on Connor, yet?" She cut right to the main reason she'd been calling, choosing their was no time for waiting around when a guy as dangerous as the hunter was walking around threatening the lives of her friends — or more so, her family.
