Laura's Pov
It's been two days since the Chase incident. Apparently after he left Ross' house he shop lifted at Aeropostale. Really? Aeropostale? He's a dude! I really don't understand people. He got arrested and will be in jail for three years. They were a little more harsh on him considering his past. I'm just glad that ill be off to college by the time he gets out of jail.
Ross and I's relationship has been perfect. Well for me.... My feeling have been getting stronger. I'm not so sure about him Ross has been acting different lately. It's like he's scared or nervous around me now. I don't know what it is. Rydel said I was just being paranoid. I don't think I am. Honestly I'm scared. And plus the prom is coming up. I don't think I'm going to go. It's just too much like a fairy tale. And why do I need a fairy tale when I have Ross? But things seem different with him now..
(The next day right before school starts)
I was walking to my locker when I saw Ross standing there, but he wasn't alone. He was with Raini and they were hugging. Honestly I felt a pain in my chest when I saw that but Raini is my best friend and I know shoe would never do that to me.
"Hey guys!" I said in a cheery voice hoping it wasn't too fake. They quickly pulled away and looked at each other with nervous looks. I just shrugged it off.
"So Ross I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today after school." I asked.
"Oh sorry Laura but I can't."
"Oh okay but why?"
"Oh ummm....... Uh........ I have..... A family thing! Yeah I can't get out if it."
"Oh...... Okay....." I wasn't sure how to take that he sounded really nervous.
"Well babe lets go to class yeah?" I asked
"Um ill meet you there you go ahead." He said while giving me a peck in the lips.
