I was really angry with myself when Riley took off on her motorbike, I know it was because of what I said.

I'm just so angry with myself.

Why the fuck did I say it was to do with having time off. Fuck.

I'm sat in the lounge on my laptop watching Alex.

Riley has been gone for a few hours, I just hope she's alright.

"Daddy when is mummy coming home?".

"I really don't know Alex".

"I'm hungry". Alex says.

"Okay bud, I'll get you something to eat".

I put my laptop down and walk to the kitchen to get Alex something to eat.

We are sat at the table eating when I hear Riley rev her bike.

I'm just so relieved that she's okay.

She walks into the kitchen and takes a bottle of water from the fridge and kisses Alex.

"Alex did you have a nice time with granddad?".

"Yeah, I had fun... I helped granddad wash some of his bikes".

I look at Riley and she looks away from me.

I know I've done something wrong.

"Riley, we need to talk". I say.

"Yes, I need to talk to you too".

Alex and I finish dinner and I clean up the dishes.

Alex zooms off to play with his toys.

I'm stood in the doorway of the kitchen and look at Riley.

"I need to apologise for this morning".

She looks at me and then she looks at her engagement ring.

I know somethings wrong, and my heart is starting to ache.

"Wyatt, I had a phone call from your mother".

I look at her with a shocked look.

"What did my mother want?".

Well what Riley said next hurt me, it felt like a knife going through my heart.

"Your mother wants us to get married in the spring, I told her I would be on tour in the spring. She's got a wedding planner which you knew about? But she also wants me to sign a marriage contract and prenuptials. So, I told her that the wedding is off".

I look at her with tears in my eyes, why the fuck as my mother done this. My fucking mother is pushing Riley away from me and we are having another baby. I can't understand why she keeps on about a marriage contract and the prenuptials.

I love Riley. That's it I got to tell her to fucking back off.

"Riley, I'm shocked just as much as you. And yes, I did know about the wedding planner, I found out the same day you were in hospital being sick".

She looks at me with no emotion.

"I told my mother to keep out of it".

She looks at me and as tears in her eyes.

"Wyatt, I think we should call the wedding off".

I sit on a chair and place my face in my hands.

I look back at Riley. I mean I really look at this beautiful woman. This is the woman I love. She's the mother of my child and we are having another baby, she really doesn't need the stress.
