Chad was of course in the gym, shooting hoops.
Veronica and Troy smiled when they saw him.
Veronica grabbed her pom poms
"He goes for the hoop," Troy announced.
Chad made the shoot.
"And it's good! East High Wildcat championship for the record book!" Troy cheered.
"W-I-L-D! WILDCATS! YOU GO CHAD!" Veronica cheered.
The trio laughed.
"So I guess when they hand us the diploma, we’re actually done here," Chad spoke up.
"What makes you think we’re getting diplomas?" Troy joked.
Chad smiled.
"One question. Does Berkeley play?" Chad asked.
"Yep, we’re scheduled to kick the Redhawks’ butts next November." Troy smiled.
"Game on, hoops!" Chad smiled.
He then turned to Veronica.
"I don't care if your gonna be in New York. You're not missing that game." Chad told her.
"I'm not gonna miss any Red Hawks or Golden Bears games. I might not be a cheerleader anymore but that doesn't I can't cheer for you guys." Veronica told both the guys.
They smiled.
They knew in their heart that nothing could break this trio.
Troy soon stole the ball from Chad.
They began to have a one on one
Coach Bolton ran in the gym and smiled at the sight of the three kids.
"Danforth! Boltons! Get out there and get on stage." He ordered.
"Did he just-" Troy began shocked.
"I never thought I’d hear my dad say," Veronica said shocked.
They began to run out of the gym, Chad left but the twins stayed.
